We can't hold onto our best players and our manager only brings in scots. The only good thing is we have a bit of financial stability. Rab douglas is stalling probably for a better offer!! i love the boys but i can't see any good summer signings on their way! anyone agree?

I refer you MON who signed Lennon, Izzet, Savage, Elliott to name but four, CL has signed Hughes and McCarthy, all players you might have said Whooooooooooo to. So lets not worry if we've never heard of them.

And I suspect Douglas is stalling because Celtic are trying to win the SPL at the moment and he doesn't want to upset the applecart.

Chandler Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 I think that there could be a bit of a quality player backlash against signing for up market Championship outfits like LCFC for three reasons: 1) They are no longer nail-on promotion candidates 2) Contracts on offer are much less attractive than they used to be 3) There is also growing concern about fans' expectations Managers too are possibly having second thoughts. I'm sure that's why ol' codface is having his doubts...
