Today, that system would have yielded an £83.50 profit, there were three 2nd fav winners today! .....and the most you would have been losing at any one time would have been £15

Total profit for the day would have been £253.56 You would've had to have been £63 down twice but both times the 2nd fav won the 6th race, so you would have had £32 on a 8/1 j2f and £32 on a 13/2. Five 2nd favs won altogether out of 21 races!

After 6 races your profit would be £81! 15 races to go! After 12 races your profit would be £116.40 with 9 races to go!

I've had a few bets on the horses today, so I'll try your system out for fun and let you know how it's worked out after the last race Someone told me a similar one, but instead of backing 2nd favourites you back 33/1 shots, now that would be big bucks if it came in In your casino scenario, it is a foolproof way of winning but again very risky as if you lose five on the trot your into big money and as you say it will only work if the casino haven't cottoned onto you. A couple of friends tried it once and placed alternate bets from opposite sides of the table, but still got sussed. If you'd have used this system yesterday you'd have been £2074 in profit unfortunately though, you would have had to have had bollox the size of footballs to have gone through with it because the 2nd fav didn't win any of the first 9 races and you would've had to have been £1536 down before the first 2nd favourite won, another problem though there were two 2nd favs in that race so you would have had to have split the stake between the two! The 2nd favs won the 2 last races so although you would have been in profit would you have had the balls to go through with it? Nice profit though-maybe you could try it and start off with 10p instead of A £1!

About 10 years ago a friend of mine used to have a £10 double and 2 £10 singles on (can't remember who but lets say)Forest and Leicester to win 2-1 every week, can't remember how much he won but he reckoned that the double came in 3 times thats about £2000 and the single came in about 10 times thats about £800, I mean you can pick whatever teams you like but you must do it every week-haven't tried it myself but I thought I'd share it with you I used to have a tenner on city to draw 2-2 @ 14/1 every game when MON was manager it came in 4 times one season think I nearly doubled my money!
