Fats came on - after being sidelined - wrongly - and played like his life depended on it. I think there are many players who would say "**** you" by that point. Maybe Vesty and Ricky are like that. I don't really blame them by the way. Winks is borderline on that front too. I don't think it's any way to go on to any great success, but it's oddly effective for a team that just wants to finish 17th.

If Abdul doesn't start next game then I genuinely don't know what he's watching.

He's got something. I just don't know what it is! I fully expect to see Ricardo playing at some point - and smashing it like the old days. I thought Winks made a fair bit of a difference today too. It was a great game - just bad for my blood pressure for many reasons.

That may well be true. But it would be a help if he picked a better starting line up. What does "He [Fatawu] is transitioning into a Premier league player, and that's not always a straightforward process" actually mean? Sounds like the ramblings of someone who is a teeny bit clueless and is making excuses for his blatantly obvious poor decision making. Oh - and how many goals do we have to concede that have come from the opposition's left hand side before the daft twat spots that?

If he doesn't start Fats next match he can do one.
