I don't think Ov ever stood a chance here this season with Russy in charge. With a more old school manager he would have thrived. Anyway, all the best to him. I will now be following Charlton's results with an even keener interest.

I always favoured bringing in a proper old school manager like Steve Cotterill. Knows these leagues inside out and has no respect for big time Charlies.

My lunch just went in the bin because I'm disgusted. Russell Martin is ripping the heart out of this club. Hamza made 57 appearances in the Premier League. He won the Championship, the FA Cup and the Community Shield. And yet a player with those credentials, who we have hand reared has been given away for nothing! Wilder deems Hamza good enough for an ambitious Championship club with intense Premier League aspirations and yet we're supposed to believe he couldn't have done a job for a League One side?! He won promotion out of this division with Burton Albion in 2016.

What on earth does Gerrard know about real football? Cotterill has forgotten more about these leagues than Gerrard would ever know. This is proper muck and nettles, jumpers for goalposts territory we're in now.

I haven't seen a better suggestion than Steve Cotterill. Knows these leagues inside out. Has no regard for big time Charlies. And plays proper old school football.

My choice would be Steve Cotterill. A proper manager that knows these leagues inside out.
