Cooper was trying to play Stehpy up front then froze him out over Ayew and Ried. Both managers where awful, Cooper started the damage though RVN finished it. I agree RVN could have changed the way we lined up but continued with the same shit Cooper was throwing up, but he was hardly blessed with talent.

We was still getting battered most weeks and lucky to not come out of games with a much bigger score line... same with RVN... that's why I said the squad was never good enough esp after employing Cooper, we went backwards not forwards.

They was the only players available, who else was he going to play ? Most posters have said Ayew done well, Vardy is Vardy and BDCR was used when Mcateer and Mav where not available. Jannick was terrible all season and was exposed in a number of games, Winks was awful as well, When Pearson done that he was lauded and rightly so. Yes he was not very good, but he hardly had the tools to play a team capable of competing in the Prem league, look at the amount of chances we conceded under Cooper and how little we created anything... it's not just these two managers the squad was not committed or good enough in the end esp after losing Fatawu to injury so early.

Yup but the club employed him, so they are to blame imo. Also Cooper brought in Skipp, Ayew, BDCR, Edouard ... none of which improved the team. A team that was shipping chances and goals at will under Cooper which continued under RVN. Yea he knew what he was coming into but hardly the reason to blame him for the mess the club has put us in over the last 4 years

Don't think it should solely be on Ruud that this happened, more a case of the club as a whole and the players ability to perform. It's not like he had a massive amount of talent to choose from.

I think its more of a case of the players were simply not good enough, and Cooper done his transfer business for him. We should be blaming the players for putting in no effort as well, they can't even manage to score a goal or create any chances or work as a team to stop chances coming our way. Not bothered about him going but the players have been shite as well, even Ricardo said as much.
