Grand start this morning.

They sometimes have done via their own channel on there. I'm sure they have with hundred games. Would say it's a prime game for them to give away for free as I doubt any of their subscribers would be too much up in arms about this one.

This game will be all over and done with on the day. Get a couple of mates together, come along and give it a go. I've got mates who aren't bothered about what's going on the pitch but really enjoy a day/evening out at the cricket. A couple are coming on Saturday just because they fancy a few beers and supporting their home county in a final. There'll be quite a few in that boat and I'm all for it.

The ECB give so little of a shit about it (format we're world champions in - good work, marketing bods!) that I doubt there'll be any fanfare. It's not even on TV FFS, despite some hundred group games being deemed important enough to be broadcast live across five channels simultaneously. It'll be up to us as fans to make it the occasion it should be. People rave on about Lord's finals but it's an absolute blessing that this is just up the road from us.

Thought it'd be worth having a thread for football trips people are doing at home and abroad as neutrals. Always like reading about others' experiences. Doing a three-day weekender by train to Holland and Germany next month involving: MVV Maastricht v Jong Ajax (Friday) Wattenscheid v Straelen (Saturday) Bochum v Köln (Sunday) Looking forward to Maastricht as I've never been to a game in Holland before and their fans look pretty crackers to boot. So, where's everyone off to and what tips do people have for each other?
