He just reminds me of Jermaine Beckford, he can score goals if they're served up on a plate for him but is lazy and sloppy and if he doesn't start to realise he's not at Man City and actually has to do some of the work himself, he'll be moved on and disappear just like Beckford.
-
I would hope he'd prioritise this one as it's better opposition away then he can rotate against Palace and bring some back for the cup quarter final

Gary Numan at Rock City is sold out but in case any of you are going to see him on the tour, look away now. If you're not, here's a few pics from last night's gig at Cardiff Tramshed

Last time it was a Saturday I had to sit listening to the Leicester game on my phone in a pub full of Forest fans who weren't at theirs. I imagine it'll be much the same.

It really won't be a toy for Top to play with. Our owners seem to be completely different to any others. He will run it to be successful and eventually self-sufficient although that will be a lot harder without the tv riches of the Premier League. We had our own concerns about them when they took over especially with the Sousa and Sven debacles but they learnt their lessons, took a slower approach and delivered more than we could have hoped for. It'll take time to get all the scouting, training and medical facilities in place and the right staff to run them as well as the right manager but you'll get there eventually. You're in good hands, trust Top and Whelan (Rudkin is still a source of debate), get behind your team and enjoy the occasionally bumpy ride.

Feeder club? It'll benefit us by allowing players to go on loan in either direction and offers will be guaranteed to be accepted by each club but King Power haven't bought them to feed us a constant stream of players to the detriment of Leuven.

I seem to have been aware of the Arsenal & Spurs accusations and bitterness for longer than anyone on here and yes it is incredibly difficult not to react to it. Something I've failed with on a few occasions when they've really pissed me off. Generally though, i try not to react, i don't post on their forums and i just retweet some of the crap if I'm annoyed enough and let others do the work of responding to the idiots, leaving me free to calm down and laugh at the responses.
-
Even some of our own fans struggle to understand that you can play for a penalty and it still be a stonewall penalty. Vardy is probably the best in the league at halting or pausing his run and allowing a defender to clatter into him and commit a foul. Whether it was played for or not is totally irrelevant. If it's a foul inside the area, it's a penalty.

Unfortunately, I've seen tweets since saying we were the least fit team last season so clearly, the idiots are believing it and it's spreading. They'll believe anything that follows their own opinions of what we're doing being impossible by fair means.
-
Yeah, i read that and thought it was ok right up to the end then i couldn't make out whether he was joking or not. Still can't decide

Take your own, I'm not doing it You could ask her husband, he's a Leicester fan
-
The less perverted will have realised i meant as she's female she doesn't wear male underwear. She is a Spurs fan though so who knows.

News to me
-
My sister is a Spurs fan, i doubt she wears underpants She's the only traitor in the family though.
-
That all stems from the original match fixing crap from a few weeks ago. You see how easily idiots believe it and how easily it spreads.
-
Like the drugs story, it doesn't matter if the originator actually believes any of it, others will believe it and spread it to Twitter or Facebook where others will read it and believe it and so on. Give it a few weeks and there'll be blogs, petitions, a million tweets and articles in the nationals that aren't about us but are. The fans of the big clubs will believe anything right now, they're desperate to find some way that we've cheated or they've been cheated against. Anything that will explain why little old Leicester is top of the league that means they don't have to accept that we've quite simply been better than them on and off the pitch. They're all so conditioned to thinking that only spending massive amounts of money on in their minds, supposedly superior individuals, wins trophies that when in their minds, supposedly inferior individuals bought from Poundland*, actually make the best team unit, it can only be the result of some form of cheating. *Other pound shops and discount stores are available.

Easy to say that now, but your attitude might be different after years of boring football with no hope of change on the horizon and let's not forget, losing pretty much every week to be 17th in the first place seeing as you mentioned it. Sometimes, you have to take a step back to make the leap forwards or you stay stuck where you are, forever. I can't think of anything more boring or depressing than that and it wouldn't be too long before we're playing in front of a half empty stadium. But hey, we'd be in the Premier League, raking in loads of tv money but it isn't doing any good if we're stuck in 17th playing boring football for years is it? I'd rather have been a West Brom fan when they went up, down, up, down and up again than be one now, bored to tears and chucking coins at their own players.
-
That being the case, being entertaining and bottom of the league is still infinitely preferable to being boring and bottom of the league. We'd take boring and 17th for a while but we wouldn't be very happy with that season after season. A relegation followed by a promotion campaign might start to look a bit more attractive then especially if it meant getting rid of someone like Pulis.

The story has made The Sun and it says that Vardy had actually agreed personal terms with Wednesday before the owners pulled the plug on the deal. I know it's difficult to believe that Pearson would even consider selling Vardy let alone sanction a deal to sell him but you and others have just written it off as bs without even considering that it might be true and if it is, what would happen afterwards. It would create yet another rift between Pearson, and the hierarchy at the club on top of everything else that happened last season. My theory of this being the final nail in Pearson's coffin makes sense of everything that we couldn't make sense of at the time.
-
Just seen another story that it was our owners that pulled the plug on the Sheffield Wednesday deal. Like I said, it's just a theory but it does fit some of the facts and the timing of Pearson's sacking which our default theory never really did. Wednesday were definitely interested at the time, I remember it but it got lost as Pearson being sacked over-rode everything else.
-
I find this difficult to believe considering Pearson's history with Vardy, I remember them being interested but I thought we refused. You never know though, maybe Pearson did sanction it, I read somewhere that Walsh talked Rudkin into not selling so maybe that's why we refused and the reason the club felt they couldn't work with Pearson anymore. The final nail in his coffin. Just a theory but it fits better with the club statement about Pearson's sacking than assuming he was sacked for defending his son.

He's not everyone's cup of tea but I quite like the guy

I hadn't ridden a bike for about 25 years and used to hate cyclists who rode on the pavements but after recently buying a bike I'm beginning to understand why they do it and I've started doing it myself. The standard of driving has declined massively and quite frankly the roads are a death trap for cyclists. Even on side-streets I've nearly been hit by drivers texting or just not paying attention. Barely a day goes by without me having to take drastic avoiding action because of some complete tit. I used to feel perfectly safe on a bike, now I don't and I'm beginning to hate motorists. Blind, inconsiderate, phone using *****. Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!
-
I used to tweet about him on a regular basis, the predictive text and autocorrect on my old phone was really annoying.
