You could let Pep Guardiola have this team and the outcome would still be Leicester 0-2 Middlesbrough tomorrow night.

There's only so much a man can do with the squad of twats we have. Sacking Cifuentes will only result in the man baby signing the next flavour of the month manager who will be sacked in April.

Nothing changes until Aiyawatt gets serious and removes his love interest from the boardroom.

Pep maybe not but this guy:nigel:maybe this guy., :brendan:.  Dyche, Sam Allardice and Avram Grant are a few, no nonesense type managers to sort this shite oit.

I once asked a Muslim about how Halal and Kosher were different (you know, because sensible, level-headed Muslims who won't kill you for mentioning Jews actually do exist) because they're quite similar to me as an outsider (infidel)

Apparently meat becomes halal by being prayed over. From that point of view, most meat almost certainly isn't halal, unless Muslims have a disproportionate number of meat-eaters.

Also the halal method is considered unethical by many animal rights group.  Some halal meat the animal may not be stunned before there throut is slit, causong additional trauma to the animal.  Also the halal meat is stunned, the process is stunned at a lower level than non halal meat, meaning the animal is more conscious amd hence causing more trauma.

Many nations have banned halal meat including denmark and sweden i believe.

The prayer part is a record or tape thats constantly played.

Pivotal three games for Marti. And you can tell he’s going to start wrong….

Millwall should have been the confirmation that he was looking for regarding who he can and can’t trust in this team…. Yet he has fallen foul as Cooper did and RVN of just picking the safe options, even though they’ve never been safe options……

To certain extent I feel for him, but in the same breath he isn’t helping himself either. If ever there was a game to introduce some more academy players, it was today…..

I however predict no wins in the next three, and Marti gone after Norwich.

    Your too kind

  4. My wife wants to take the whole famiky to central london for a day out.

Train tickets are stupid ££££.  I was wondering where can we drive in and catch the local train and tube?

    Anyone have any options?

As with all these things depends how much you want to spent. I used to have a Rocket Appartamento, but when it gave up the ghost I want ease and convenience and got the Sage Bambino Plus as the automated milk frothing sold it. It's been really good.

I've seen plenty of reviews for the Ninja and it seems a bit Jack of all traders master of none as they're trying to offer more features than can be provided for the price range they're aiming at. A decent burr grinder costs more than the machine and that's one of the main features to actually extract good coffee. That being said, all good coffee suppliers can send pre-ground coffee which would be far better than ground beans in a cheap grinder. I do have a decent grinder so buy beans, but you can a coffee subscription from ozone coffee to ship ground beans every other week for £8 and it'll be fine during that time.

That being said, James Hoffman seemed to like the Ninja and he's my go to coffee nerd that knows more about coffee that I've forgotten. He has also said similar to me that just buying pre ground beans and spending more on a better espresso machine makes more sense.

Good luck down this rabbit hole!

Currently drinking nescafe gold, it does the job

At this point I don’t think sacking him is the answer, everyone knew he was inheriting a mess. If the situation doesn’t improve and we’re in a dangerous league position later down the line then something needs to change

I don’t expect us to go straight back up and in all honesty I don’t believe it’s in our best interest too either, we end up in the same position and mask over a lot of the issues temporarily. We need to create an identity again, build a core to the team that will compete and give time to clear out the dead wood

My only concern is that he doesn’t seem to be finding a winning formula and addressing some of the issues. A lot of managers now have their way of playing and don’t want to adapt which is where I feel MC currently is too, football trends come and go but at the moment his way of playing is isolating the CF, heavily relying on a player of Ricardos quality and understanding to do the inverted role and also making us vulnerable at the back with Faes, Vesty and Thomas - Faes is too loose, Vesty is slow and too passive and Thomas just can’t defend at all. As a club it feels like because we won the league playing the Maresca way we’ve tried to find a manager who plays a similar style believing it will work again and all will be forgiven and forgot by the fans. Previously we had Doyle who tucked in as a LCB to create a back 3 who is a CB, quality and energy of KDH and Ndidi to arguably have the best midfield in the league and Vardy up top

I know it rips up his ‘philosophy’ but maybe he needs to adapt to the players he has, were to easy to score against, players who aren’t as technically good or have the understanding playing this system and players offering nothing up top. Keep it simple and go back to WB’s being WB’s, defenders defending and 2 up top to give us something different as none of who we have are strong enough to play that role as a lone striker

Can you summarise in 5 sentences

We're so awfully predictable in most aspects of our game.

Mentality, set-up, build-up, mistakes, chance creation (minimal), individual player traits (Fatawu). Makes us very easy to play against and defend against.

The only bright sparks are Ramsey and James but they can't seem to complete 90s together (granted one of them coming back from injury).

Surround them with quality or players that receive the ball in space that we can create for them and we'll flourish. But we don't do that. The build-up is slow, it means opposition can get back into shape and double-up on wingers, and we miss out on opportunities to exploit weaknesses or gaps in defences.

And on the occasions that we do, we're not clinical enough. It's good that the midfield/wingers contribute to goals, but without a proper striker that actually carries a physical threat or finishing, it makes defences play with confidence and ease.

There's always chances for opposition if they want it. Given how we've played so far, we've been fortunate to see games out where we've got 3 points. We have a habit of making things difficult when they don't need to be. Too many players don't actually have the motivation or concentration to play out a full 90 at their best. Too many passengers so other players who do play well have to work extra hard which becomes a detriment.

If Marti has learnt anything from Tuesday, it's that Ayew, Daka, Soumare and Faes should never form part of a starting line up again.

The other predictable thing - Ivanovic is bound to score!

So do you think we will win :wes:
