PSR works on a 3 year rolling cycle. Have a bad year financially (ie loose £30m in prize money) and it negatively impacts for the next 3 years. That's before you factor in the impact of the relegation (and subsequent lost revenue) itself.

I've not defended Top anywhere but I'm amazed how much of a free pass Rodgers gets.

Out of interest - what would you have wanted the owner to have done differently at the time, rather than with the benefit of hindsight? He couldn't put any more money in than he did thanks to PSR, so that's not an option. I remember people suggesting Rodgers should be sacked before he was (for example) and getting roundly shouted down.

Many of us do not need hindsight, we noticed Brendan’s flaws way before the chairman and his fans.

    Any time.

And if you don't fancy the footy, you're more than welcome to beat me at golf some time!

The most important thing is that you're OK, so give me a shout.

And I mean it, there's a few of us on here who go for a round of golf when we can.

That's how I know @Izzy has a magic putter lol

If you can hit the ball, chances are you’ll beat me.

I'm really sorry to hear that mate.

I've managed to drag my stepson down to our level and saved him from a so called 'big' team.

Genuine offer, as I'm sure loads of people on here would say too...

If you fancy going to watch a game, home or away, give me a shout.

    Seriously.

It's hard to like our team at the minute, but I really hope you're OK.

    Just let me know

I appreciate that Tom thanks, it’s a nice offer.

    I’ll let you know.

    @Izzy take it.

I'm booking the day off and making an excuse to be there too.

Ermmm...we're playing golf after it's sorted, right? lol:wub:

I do actually play now, I’m ****ing terrible though. I think I’d make a good farmer because I plough them fairways like beauty.

Rough being a Leicester fan right now, eh?

Glad you're doing well mate and really good to hear from you 👍

    Yeah you too mate.

Yeah it’s been rough but it’s not the only reason I’ve lost interest. I used to go with my dad, watch and talk football with him every day and since he passed, I’ve not really got that anymore.

My kids aren’t interested and I work on my own, so it’s just petered a bit.

No doubt I’ll get it back at some point.

    All good thank you mate.

It's been too long! Hope you're good too

    Yeah mate, it’s pretty good.

I’ve lost a fair bit of interest in the football these days, hence the absence.

Plus I’m very busy at work, so I can’t be wasting as much time as I used to able to.

Why was Coady and Cannon bought and not played when Enzo was here? A waste of £14m. (I genuinely don't see Enzo 'having' those 2 and believe very much they were signed over his head)

Why was Souttar, Kristiansen, Daka, Soumare, Vestergaard, Bertrand (Free, but wages..) bought and not played when Rodgers was here? A waste of around £87m.

Now this is no defence of Cooper, it's simply making the comparisons and points, neither am I going to sit here and say Cooper was no part of it (I'd be a hypocrite and contradicting myself I did) because when people claim "Rodgers wasn't backed" I like to point out he was backed, very much so, to the tune of £200m, buying shite, leaving us in the mess we're currently in, of course he had a part in it but like Cooper cannot be solely blamed.

Meanwhile, as I pointed out yesterday, RVN hasn't brought or been allowed his own staff, so by that metric we're still left with the same staff, same scouts, same moneymen that recruited under Cooper. Yippee!

If all 3 managers are having the exact same issue, doesn’t that point to the fault lying somewhere else within the club?

I’d also add, I think you’re wrong on Coady, I think Enzo did want him.

He made him club captain, the injury timing was very unfortunate and Enzo didn’t like to alter winning formulas.

Anyone expecting us to compete with PL teams are reactionary. Look at Burnley, Sheffield United etc last year, class in the championship but crap in the PL. We simply arent able to compete financially with teams at this level and Cooper isnt to blame for that :dunno::thumbup:

We are playing a club in the same position right now.

We beat them 9-1 over 2 games last season, this gargoyle is taking us backwards.
