The real sadness is talking to the staff who did do their jobs many of whom Friday will be the last time as they are laid off due to the ineptness of this owner and his band of sycophants. Also saying farewell to football friends who will stay away not because we are in the third division but because abuse nothing currently works at this club. We as supporters understand what needs to happen but this owner does not have the backbone to do it. Could we be relegated to the fourth division that is not beyond the realms of possibility. I cannot see administration at least next season beyond that we are in uncharted waters. 61 seasons through thick and thin and now I begin to wonder will I remain.

Everyone wants this to happen, of course, but the timing is an insult and nothing more than a distraction from the fact the club is currently falling apart.
On a personal note, I would be most interested in seing Schmeichel, Mahrez & Vardy - I doubt any of those will feature.
Ive got little interest in seing Ben Hamer and Liam Moore.
I think the overall factor is, the thought is great, but theres zero trust the club would do it justice. It will be an anti climax.
In reality its just going to be the same group of players that keep doing the sh1t Q&A's.
Vardy will not be there Cremoneses last game is May 24th

I hate surveys because you can always find fault with questions. Anything created by humans has bias. To be fair the Trust has done a fair job this time around with both process and testing. The main point is that they are trying to gain a broad viewpoint to present to the club. How the club react is a very different question. The more who respond the more support for the results there will be. It’s 5 minutes less than many of us spend on here.

I think it was irrelevant. Just before Christmas was present at a series of conversations with him that gave an insight into the impossible position I think all the managers have faced. Toxic players with a direct line to the DOF and owner who interfere with the managers attempts to improve things and discipline players. It was clear that day he was a genuine individual who could not last under the regime. The owner who has no footballing knowledge has his fingers too embedded in directing things . He acts like a star struck teenager and it’s impossible to break. He continues to surround himself with sycophants who have no backbone to drive through the right things.

Agreed with what you say, I'm sure the regulator is busy but I would have thought his remit is to looks at all issues in Football and make recommendations where he sees fit.
I understand under 18s are not allowed to sign Contracts for good reason in most cases.
But Football is a special industry, and so maybe special conditions need to be made help parents and young players. Then as you say maybe sign a new Contract at 18.
Like I said some Club is going to challenge it based on the measly compensation being currently offered.
When the regulator had their first meeting with fans I submitted two pages of questions that I believed mattered to true football supporters. 90% of them the regulator said was outside their remit. It confirmed what I thought the regulator will benefit supporters not one bit. If you are hoping for improvements that make sense do not hold your breath.

It seems baffling to me that there hasn't been more of a community outreach - Last Friday at LCB Depot has a street food night every single month with banging food from across the region, why aren't they being asked to sort out home games?
Because the club signed a new deal with OVG Catering and everything has to go through them.

I'm not doubting you, but £650m seems very high.
You need at least 450 to buy Top out then 100 to run the business so nearer 550 is my estimate. That’s assuming you try to buy now which no one with any sense will do.

Actually we have used the parachute payments as security for a cash facility. How much of that has been consumed is the unknown. Given what the new CFO alluded to in recent conversation with the FAB I would suggest that much if not most is used. If relegated things become clear we can only spend 70% of revenue. Revenue will fall substantially so sever cost cutting will take place at many levels. We will need a savvy recruitment and manager to find bargains. Spending breaches to get back up will not now work. Selling Seagrave is not a simple option.

Hello all Foxes.
I first posted my idea back in February. Since then, Rowett has taken over and we seem to have gone from bad to worse as he's proving to be absolutely clueless like the others.
Would be great to take the consortium idea forward. It's not about money at this stage. It's seeing how many think it's a good idea and then we can consider the next step.
The chairman deciding to stay away from our last home defeat to Swansea just about sums up the club's predicament. To the board it's just a business to make money out of the fans. Nothing more.
There's no passion or soul attached to LCFC from the hierarchy. Sure, we have a brilliant training ground. But it would have been better to have stayed at Belvoir Drive and invest all that money in two or three experienced, decent players/and/or a decent, experienced manager.
So it's time for change. A radical change.
Let's seriously think about taking action, consortium wise. If we can get the momentum going, things will happen. I am sure of it.
I am a businessman as well as a supporter. Football is a loss making business so any consortium unless bought out of administration needs deep pockets. Happy to talk.

So, years of mismanagement, years of complacency, years of appalling fiscal planning and a complete naiveite when it comes to forward thinking strategies to manage worst-case scenarios. We all are witnessing the absolutely gutting scenario of the team we force ourselves to watch every week being humiliated again and again.
I often look at the business, and the club, and consider what I'd do if I was in the thick of it, and could actually influence the decision making going forwards.
So, my question to everyone is what would YOU do if you were handed the reigns of the club tomorrow. I'm talking from say a DOF standpoint. If Rudkin was finally unglued from his supposedly immoveable perch, and, in a flash of Championship Manager / Football Manager'esque brilliance, you found yourself parachuted in to the top job.
What would be the key points you'd look to change, both immediately, and in terms of long term strategy?
A stringent wage cap? Would you pay someone to take a heat gun to all the faded blue seats? How would you re-connect with the fans? Would you look to re-jig the squad's use of the training ground in order to create a bit more professionalism? What would you look to do with the management team and structure?
There must be a bunch of people on here that run successful companies, in various different fields. All with different experience of tough economic times. There must also be a bunch of young and enthused young people that see the world through new and innovative eyes. There must also people that see things from the front lines of the workforce and can see where the people up top are getting it wrong.
I'd love to know what you'd do if you were given that top job.
Redesign the club top to bottom defining each role then make everyone apply for their current job in its new format and justify what they will do better to secure it. I believe almost all the management would fail this so new bold. I expect all the coaching and fitness staff to fail so new blood. Sell the women’s team, scale back Seagrave. Establish a budget aligned to income and make not breaking it a metric for everyone. Tell Top to keep his beak out and ban him from talking to players and staff. Remove all current contractors and suppliers making them bid anew on new work scopes. Talk to the fans not at them, explain things not hide from them. Return to football, publish a footballing ethos and hire a DOF to deliver. Remind everyone it’s about entertaining and winning. Deliver on building a sound fiscal basis through improved customer experience and delivery. Run the club on 30% less staff than currently. Be honest no new stadium. And a structured delivery on affordable improvements. Sell or rent Belvoir Drive. Tougher on academies cut those not making the grade faster. That’s all for week one.

I’d imagine there are going to be a lot of redundancies at the club. A shame for the front line staff. People like this idiot who add nothing should be the first to leave on statutory redundancy too.
Some conversations must be going on many staff on Saturday told us they do not expect to have jobs going forward.

Anyone know what they're trying to charge the boxholders for next season? Surely they can't be brazen enough to think those will pay the same rate as they have been doing for third tier football?
They have contacted box holders and hospitality season ticket holders with the good news we can renew with no increases for next season.however they have not described what is on offer especially regarding the atrocious food standards. Yesterday many hospitality season ticket holders discussed they are not renewing. Sad to see as we lose so many football friends.reality is that across all levels of management even below the top two fools are clueless.

This is the real issue. Clubs need to stop paying such big wages. Time to introduce a maximum wage that can be earned and wage expenses set at a maximum figure for every club.
Player wages are ridiculous, even in the lower reaches of the pyramid.
Also government should introduce a 25% tax on all club earnings in the Premier League to be redistributed down the football pyramid.
I whole heartedly support a salary cap below the Premier League also a cap on agents fees. The tax on the EPL I cannot support they should not pay for weakness in other businesses. The reality is that for any of this to happen multiple clubs will need to fall into administration and I am not talking one or two but 25 to 30. The one big change should be that all transfer fees must be paid in full immediately upon player transfer. Too much money is currently tied up on HP. Football also needs to lose about 350 players by going back to 15 man squads and one substitute only.

His last sentence sums it up he has just realized it’s no longer in his hands. In The third division there is no PSR is squad cost ratio which restricts us to spending 70% maximum of certain income. With lower TV revenue, lower gate receipts, lower commercial sales it’s not something he can bail out. It’s dawned he no longer is in control of our destiny.
