Daka missing a penalty and a sitter shows just why we are where we are. Defensively not bad but no real goal threat unless it comes from James.

This is one of the ironies of our potential administration. To my knowledge, we don't owe much - if any - money..
The debts to KP were wiped out in a debt to equity swap..
Any finance on the stadium is under KP, not us. It's owned by KP, not us.
Seagrave is a bit of a mystery as to who owns it and how it was financed.
Macquirie have advanced us our parachute money - meaning the EPL pay them this summer, not us. The only reason Macquirie have a charge on us is a belt and braces insurance against the EPL not paying them (like 99.9999% improbable) . And if that were the case, we'd have to pay Macquirie back. So technically, we are in debt but in reality, not.
Good observation. VC type investors look to an exit strategy that escalates their investment. Or a venture that provides lots of cash even if it is not profitable. NCP pre Covid was a cash cow but that cash has collapsed leaving an inability to service debt. Having, debt is not a big deal as long as you can service the interest on the debt aka Man Utd. NCP like football clubs often have no appreciating assets unless you build youngsters you sell on for high fees. This is the biggest failing of Leicester in the last few years. This will be interesting going forward the next big TV deal might not be as big. There are lots of calls on peoples cash and it is more transitory than ever. You could say Macquarie did well exiting NCP before the problems hit.

Any increase is going to stick that renewal rate through the floor.
Luton however charge in the 450+ for their League 1 ST's, so not out of the question they raise them. Was surprised that Lincoln’s is also 450

Is there a given reason why it takes 2 months to publish the minutes?
Now that is a great question and I will table it at the next meeting.

That’s my point when it comes to the inefficiencies of these meetings. They don’t zone in on the why’s and how’s
I suggested that the meetings should have an issues dashboard so we track and show to fans actions and deliverables fell on deaf ears.

Ultimately the club shaping the minutes how they see fit.
The point regards ST ticket increases was made by someone who feared that the club would at one point introduce a huge increase to catch up with other clubs rather than do smaller incremental increases which are manageable. It's been unfairly worded.
I'd also say he's very passionate and he gets it more than 80% of people in that room.
The ID check is an issue where the majority were for them. Me and a few others pointed out it's a symptom of the priority system.
The delay behind the priority system is off really. They held a 90 minute session which was pro-change of it and then did a survey which basically had top priority point holders protecting their interest. The reality is if a proposed system showed that they would still be protected then that allays fears.
I hold my hand up I was the one that suggested they think it through. Not raising prices looks good in the short term but the many seasons in the past when the club did not do contributed to poor fiscal management and then people get hit with a wham. The issue is that many of the senior club staff do not seem to think through the longer term issues - lack of strategy. Cosbeh is also correct there is no agility in the club it takes too long as we see with the Away scheme they should have moved quicker after the 90 minute session. I often have to read the minutes several times to remind myself I was in the room. What does not come through is that there are good people with passion pushing against a wall of blandness.

I don’t think that will say much until they are fairly sure of where we will be. Increases will not occur if we go down, not so sure if we retain status as they may seek inflation costs. They have a lot to chew on as revenues have fallen a lot. Depends what next season ambitions will be. Based on this year I suspect renewal rates will drop by 10 to 15% so single matchday pricing will be interesting. Personally I would open a window soon with a significant discount to renew early. However I am only a businessman what would I know?

Btw there’s no mention that numerous people within the meeting defended Union FS. And that they getting stick for other peoples views and chants etc
You are exactly right sir. It’s a bit Yes Minister the episode about the official minutes are the recollection Tino of the minutes at the time the official minute taker chose to interpret the minutes. To all there are voices on the FCC who try to push but to be fair the staff are limited by what their bosses allow and their bosses only allow what Top wants. Read the FAB rules of engagement so much is off topic. We do push and test the limits the minutes do not reflect at least at the FCC level what is fully said.

I am a hard football fan, born into the 60’s forged in the fire of the 70’s, enjoyed success and failure, outlasted multiple owners, revelled in the heights of the last decade. I go to not just Leicester but many other games. The reality is that the passion, hatred of the opposition and the fight has gone not just at Leicester but across the footballing world in the UK. Your protest numbers reflect the modern supporter. Just like they reflect the modern professional footballer no one cares. There is no passion, the club as do many others talk about the match experience. They cannot however define it. The reality is that my definition now varies from that of so many others. I yearn for the great European nights of the 70’s but even Anfield cannot deliver that. Too many fans don’t care they have no loyalty and will move on. Passive Protests will not change anything. You need thousands storming the Directors box before anything will get noticed and that is not yet where most people are. Good luck I have nothing against you but it is a waste of time. The recent management changes are two fingers up to the fan base that we like incompetence.

We go to Lincoln it’s only 45 minutes away. It refreshes me that there is still enjoyable football to watch. And their food is so much better than at Leicester.

Thought we looked really good for the first 25 minutes. Good tempo, fighting for every ball. Really refreshing to see. Then a switch flicked and we reverted to the same clueless, uninterested shite. Tossing around at the back. Ayew should genuinely never wear a Leicester shirt again. Absolute waste of space.
Spot on it sure if they need psychoanalysis or me. It’s real Jekyll and Hyde stuff.

I don’t think it’s fair to say Monga has underperformed. Maybe he hasn’t lived up to the hype.
His heart isn’t in it. But then again, why would it be? He’s 16 year old lad from Cov with an exceptional talent who’s waiting for a move to Man City.Underperformed? Nah.
Overhyped? Probably imo.
Agree with you and the over hype is why there is little to no chance of Man City signing Monga. The gulf in class between Monga and Mukassa shows that. Yes he is young but I don’t see all the hype around Monga. Maybe a different club can improve him but there is a lot of work to do.

It is against the dynamics of going to every game. Good for RV and the revenue from that. No disrespect but the current top two clubs will struggle so anyone lower down is really going to find it hard. Why have a season slog if by a bit of fortune you can get promoted after finishing 15 points adrift of 3rd place. Why invest in a season ticket just watch the play offs. This is all for armchair fans. Why not just not play any games and put names in a hat. This is not football but money laundering. Supporters lose out, players, agents line their pockets. I predict no more than 20 years and top football in the UK will collapse.

I dont really know but I'm not going to make up complete waffle about him being jealous of Fatawu
Well I see a player who regularly has the pass available and chooses not to make it. Fatawu is just as guilty. So not sure it’s waffle. Both these players have fallen off a cliff in terms of delivery, both have an appalling workrate. As stated by Fox92 Mavididi had a partial bright spell under Enzo but has been pretty dire since. Something is not right.

So please share your insights into why he is now so goddam awful! He is certainly not the player we once saw and currently a complete liability playing against opposition where he should be delivering so much more.

I’m probably going to get pelters for this and it isn’t a ‘be careful what you wish for’ comment , but the only thing that stopped me short of submitting this survey, was the lack of a caveat for a Saudi/Chansiri type owner being that one that takes us over.
I had completely filled the survey out expressing my dissatisfaction for the ownership but that question really made me think about how the trust should be very clear in its communication on what we want our future ownership to look like. Whether beggars can be choosers is a whole other thing entirely.
I hope that makes sense and you understand what I mean.
I can understand the Chansiri one but why not a Saudi owner the PIf have done right by Newcastle. Maybe you would prefer an asset stripping American. An owner that does right by the club is OK with me regardless of background.

Ouch wish them well but my initial reaction is severely underwhelmed. Cannot see much changing we needed revolution not evolution. We needed the swamp emptying and refilling with new we needed alligators appointing not paddling food items. I was trying to stay positive but have to see the embers of positivity were just doused.

I think a lot is to do with mental jealousy. He resents that Fatawu (who is also currently awful) pops up with an odd world class goal and gets all the attention. He has become indecisive needs to attack players instantly and draw fouls not worry about possession. Work on upper body strength, track back more, spring into space when breaking. Shoot more on sight. Would probably be a bit of a hero.

Agree they've been poor but BDCR and Fatawu have made far more positive contribution than Thomas.
He's made so many errors that cost us goals. He has been the poorest of that group, perhaps other than Ayew.
Disagree he is left exposed because every player in front of him whether it is Mavadidi or Monga fails to work hard enough. It’s not a lot better on the other flank. We are constantly overrun because there are too many lazy players in this squad.
-
First half we held them just but no threat from us. At half time their manager clearly said step up the energy we have these. And yes that’s all it took. We have had multiple managers now who it appears cannot see that `daka is a complete and utter waste of time as a footballer. The minute you play either him or Ayew we are down to 20 men. Yesterday Cordova Reid took us down to 9 players. Fatawu going AWOL took us down to 8. Uping the energy took winks out of the game second half. That’s the story of this squad we always are 2-3 players AWOL.

Was ok to a point but again, the second goal down his side and where is he? For probably an hour or so it was Ricardo who was testing my heart rate getting pulled everywhere and looking massively out his depth but that second was awful…
Have you watched the goals the first one Okoli again is flat footed and like a statue. Thomas may not be great but we have a lot of dogshit plsyers ahead of him, the list from yesterday is Daka, De Cordova Reid, Ayew, Fatawu, Mavadidi contributed a total of zero. So let’s start with them

So if the regime was gone and we still had most of this team you want us to back them. Sorry there are large number of this current squad who have had us over as a club and fan base so I cannot back them. Change has to mean players and their behaviours as much as anyone else. You cannot criticise management incompetence while accepting it from players. This is where the protest fails for me you exonerate some of the worst offenders you really want me to back Daka, Ayew and others?

Club Finances

The bulk of the construction costs for Seagrave were covered by the funds from the sale of Harry McGuire so the amount of any additional financing was low. The one item that seems hard to track is when and how the land was acquired and funded. The best I can see is that the land was acquired and is owned by King Power. In the accounts buildings etc are depreciated in the club . The land may not have that much value unless they could get change of use to redevelop it.
