Got a shirty response to my complaint about Ian Bason's appearance on the podcast from the "election board".
They also CC'd everyone that had complained in the same email which is clearly a GDPR breach. Complete amateurs.
Cannot say I am surprised as technically Mr Bason did not breach the rules. I strongly encourage those standing to actively campaign that is perfectly allowable. Let’s ask the podcast for a right to rebuttal interviews. Post continuously on every forum with the messages. Fight fire with fire you have a good message then you need to tell the story, retell the story until you swamp the voting. The largest growth of the trust since inception has been on the back of the reform call continue to press it home. In the home straight bring it on home.

Club staff, box holders, sponsors, player families.
Leave box holders and hospitality out of the list there was only 20 tickets for those groups. Staff will probably be in the same numbers. For an away game unlikely many went to sponsors. Player hangers on probably do eat up some there seems to be a lot of them at home games.

Well yes will be there have sat through crap before will again the day holds more than just the shite on the pitch. Following Leicester is a microcosm of life highs, lows, hope and despair. The fun in gambling on which team will turn up for which 20 minutes is new I agree.

My understanding is that they have the data and are listed as an organisation who are obliged to respond to FOI requests.
Confused that they've not even bothered to respond
They have 20 working days to respond, they can refuse on commercial grounds but they must respond. I assume the request was in writing, clearly shows the name and address of the requestor.. was it addressed to their data controller?

Aye, I sent it to the bloke at the SGSA and he hasn't even acknowledged it, despite chasers.
Was that Mark Holland? He is an inspector responsible for Leicester City but unlikely to have the data. The council are the ones the data has to be reported to and the recipients of any FOI.

£27.50 seems a lot for the cup. Once again the club charging £30 for the coach
Yes but be warned they are very hot on this at Cheltenham and not unknown to prosecute anyone discovered.

To be fair we went to Derbys club shop and it was certainly no better and probably worse. Club shops are targeted at a range of audiences that are possibly not what we call hard core football fans. I am not sure given the dire core product that is being served up presently that the shop is our biggest issue.

Wouldn't hold my breath for any interview, her departure would have been under condition of a huge NDA given our track record of secrecy and paranoia.
I don’t think the NDA is the issue but more that she was a consummate professional. I worked with her a lot behind the scenes and it is a true loss. She worked diligently in a declining atmosphere in my observations. It is impossible to work under an absent dictator who favours sycophants. I believe it just was no longer worth her efforts. Yes the body language between her and Rudkin was clear to see for a long time. She was as frustrated with the onfield shambles as any supporter and the access Jon has to the owner frustrates any change. A CEO walking instantly is cause for concern, the shambles since then says that there is no plan in place. Worrying times.

Timings as well as the poor product is having an impact. It’s true hospitality sales are way down but it shows when 40 plus places that are paid for in one Lounge are empty. Continual changes in timings messes with people’s schedules. The desire for live football is dwindling. We go to a lot of football not just Leicester and the discounted offers I get this year is shocking. Football is hurting for live customers especially at the higher prices hence empty spaces.

Really weird timing to start going at the trust for asking for change.
So the new management is an improvement? Have to disagree and I have always criticised the wording of the 5 point memo.if they had specific targets they should have named them.

Item 1 make changes to senior leadership after the owner she was one of the two most senior leadership after it was a direct request you cannot get out of that. You got what you asked for just the wrong leadership.

I felt Whelan got a harsh deal here, it always seemed to me that she was the partner in a relationship who’s other half had a massive spending problem and she was the one constantly trying to put out fires and was tasked with bringing money into a bucket that had 500 Top and Rudkin shaped holes in.
The calibre of people who openly spoke out with admiration about her such as Vards and Pearson when she was let go spoke volumes.
The one person to stand up and steady the ship no one realised the gap that appeared the minute she walked. Remember the trusts 5 point demand the best person departed.

Credit to him something has clicked his two cameos at full back and Centre half were first rate and his last three midfield games he has excelled. Seems to be developing a real understanding with JJ. Hope it continues.

Okay, so it's the players not Seagrave?
I believe it goes deeper than just the players read the resumes of many of the fitness, medical staff. I sit near many of the ‘tactics’ coaches home and away and the topics you hear just blow my mind. A facility does not set the tone it’s the people in it. I feel we don’t have a top class fitness regime look at how many of our players challenge and are blown off the ball, we have no upper body strength there is no core work. A light breeze and Daka, Ayew, Fatawu and Madvadidi fall over.
-
No just no. We have had too many retirement home signings. Build for a future and a 35 year old broken down player is not it. Would be a desperate move.

I and others have been saying this since the latter part of the Bodgers era. I believe this also contributes to a lot of our injuries. The fitness coaching staff is too touchy freely in my opinion. The pl winning season managers like Klopp were in awe of our fitness. However when Harvey Barnes left us Newcastle were shocked at how unfit he was. Even against Derby we were a 45 minute side. The back room and Seagrave cabal needs a clear out we are too comfortable throughout the whole club. Back to basics.

Still no news then ?
i do wonder if there’s a fight behind the scenes with the FA and our lawyers.
Cases like Sheffield Wednesday seem to get immediate action because there’s no argument yet us and in the extreme end Man City seem to wait forever.
The FA has nothing to do with this it’s the EPL. And yes we do fight our corner against the corrupt areseholes.

There are just moments when you look at the club and go - what the are they thinking. Is it that they are just that stupid or do they not see the incongruity of their actions as seen through the eyes of supporters. You begin to wonder if they are just doing it to enjoy some form of sad humour at laughing at how we respond. Daka, Choudray, Fatawu and now Top in one 7 day period..
-
Winks at fault for the first goal, better performance when winks pulled second half. Let’s drop him for 5 games see how it goes. We need to replace Vestergaard and Faes as soon as possible. Choudray has played for 7 managers and none of them rated him enough to keep him bin him as soon as possible. With these 4 gone I believe we can build a better ethic and give a manager a fair chance. They are the root poison around the club.

But he wants us to be closer !!
it’s just rhetoric that has lasted a couple of weeks. which is what we all expected
Turn up, greet the fans and bugger off again.
Aiyawatt - give it up lad !! We’ve all seen enough
A fair observation and the so called supporters groups swallowed it hook line and sinker. A momentary PR exercise to make it look like something was being done. No wonder nothing gets done all the decisions are on the bottom of the pile in Bangkok.

Sums up Leicester and this current squad it’s all a laugh. Hate the lot of them.

Do we really want promotion this season ??

My perspective is no we do not. If we get promoted we miss out on parachute payment just like we did last time. Increased cost eat up increased `TV revenues as you try to survive. Our parlous finances require a pause period to recover. We need to go through another summer to remove the last of the overpaid dross. Then a rebuild probably over another two seasons.
