@uReds any real ale/old man pubs you can recommend that are at least vaguely on the way to the ground from the station that won't be mobbed?

Were in the Botanist about 10 min walk to the ground.

not sure what ale they do though.

Surely it doesn’t matter is it’s 1,500 or 10. The principle is still the same they are reserving tickets just based on people working at the club and not people who spend their hard earned money watching the team away from home

Perks of the job i suppose,

it amazes me how this topic is never spoken about for most of the normal away games where no doubt staff at the club get extra tickets.

Sounds like everyone’s assumptions of the club keeping tickets for themselves might be true- many people claiming on twitter that the club had around 1500 tickets for themselves/ friends & family. The atmosphere is going to be embarrassing if it’s true

I dont believe that for one minute

Been away from home with us recently?

    All but 2 mate.

i know what your saying and believe me im with you as the away ends have been p*** poor.

i just think if people cannot get up for a day out or in my case weekend at forest then we really do have problems.

its amazing really how pubs and concourses before games are excellent but as soon as were in the stands its shocking.

im booking y2 so im deffinately up for this one

I suggest you watch this video. If you can't be bothered with the full six minutes, then just fast forward to 1 min 15 secs, tthrough to 2 min. 45 secs.

Just watched this video and i haven’t changed my mind. its still the worst new build ive seen imo.

im sure it will look magnificent in a few years once expansion is complete for when you welcome all those bored chelsea fans. Good luck with that one :crylaugh:

If that is the same "Billy Bean Moneyball nonsense" which has taken us to all the way to the PL, from playing in League One before crowds of 6k, in an outdated, crumbling 12k capacity stadium, whilst in so much debt that we were literally making bucket collections to keep the lights on, then that will do this geriatric hipster just fine.

Have to say your new ground is a mess, whoever designed that needs shooting

Has anyone had a response/confirmation after submitting the consent form...I submitted mine, via the ticket confirmation link, but not had any confirmation or acknowledgement.

    ???

    Nope

  8. Its amazing how we all have these conversations about how and who should get tickets for the big games when they come around but we hear jack shit when newcastle, Everton away ect ect ect  doesn’t sell out. Personally in my opinion if you put in the effort and do the miles you should get rewarded and the away priority system is the fairest way.

Why next season give them the 30 point deduction now😉

I thought about that but as it stands only Arsenal would be punished hardest as they would go into the bottom 3, whereas if its the start of next season and all 6 started say -20 or -30 points its a hell of an ask for all to overcome that handicap during the season, i honestly couldnt see chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and maybe united and liverpool getting to far up the table. They would have to get 50 points just to accumulate 20 or 30 points which would still keep them in  relegation trouble.

Personally think coppers would stop any move to Ricoh or MK. No direct transport links. Hence in Coventry’s case, flashpoints with trouble.

no need to worry about groundsharing as we will be in lockdown 12 by then...
