Well well well...Castagne on the back post... and finally we get a clearance off the line. Is someone listening?

Who doesn't love a good goal line clearance? It does seems like having a defender somewhere between the ball and the net enables this voodoo magic to happen.

Is it just me who is wondering why we never seem to have a defender on the back post for corners? I haven't counted but it feels like at least 4 times this season where we have had no defender on the back post for corners, conceded in exactly the same spot. Couple of examples below this season, where a goal was scored at the far post and it would probably made a difference. If I were the other team, I'd be aiming there every time.

Did anyone else get a flashback to THAT goal by Andy Peake when Youri scored?

I'd prefer our own homegrown Barnes on the pitch to Perez from what I've seen so far.
