The squad has more than enough talent to be competitive at this level, however there is a clear lack of any standards and the culture of the club is on its arse.

The directive to play this mundane pedestrian football is really hampering the club, it worked under Enzo as he was an excellent coach and overall found a balance and style that whilst not perfect was enough to get us over the line, then in came Cooper and working under a similar directive was found massively lacking and as a result we looked undercooked, under prepared and a bit of a mess.

Ruud came in and I think his biggest problem was he came in and immediately identified the issues but clearly didn’t get the support from above to sort out the trouble makers and piss poor culture so after a couple of promising games it seemed to unravel very quickly and it felt like Ruud was undermined and completely ineffective.

Sadly from there the collapse and demise has been so severe, I don’t believe many of the squad respect or believe in the ‘project’ and have become so disillusioned hence the woeful displays and lack of any heart and desire. Our problems aren’t the quality of players, it’s application, hunger and culture.

All characteristics that should be driven from the owners and directors which give the manager or head coach the structure to create a culture of professionalism and the highest standards and expectations.

Currently the owner and his directors are obsessed with us playing like Man City…….imagine how that transposes down to the players who will know that is not possible, I am not defending the squad but how demoralising and toxic must it be to be told how to play when you know it’s not sustainable, you are being coached by mediocrity such as Cooper, Cifuentes and Rowett and it’s continuing to manifest in poor performances and results and will likely see us relegated to league one.

As a player or coach you can  have little respect for anyone who is influencing or instructing you to play a certain way or in a certain formation when it’s clearly deluded, and not working, it gives the impression of someone who is detached from reality and that will drive a massive drop off in standards and culture. It’s easy to see why it has become so toxic.

We are playing like man city.

    Well the 1998 version anyways.

A full clear out is needed, I'm not fussed if we don't see 3/4 of that team again

It will be 'experience' once again

Why change a winning formula eh

Yes but Top is not in a hurry to sell.  It could take administration/bankruptcy to get rid of him, and we’ve all seen what that has done to Sheffield Wednesday.  They’re facing starting League 1 with a 15 point deduction, so are highly likely to go down to league 2, despite having new owners.  Our best hope is to do well in League 1, so Top is happy to sell, knowing he’ll get some money out of it.  Rather than allowing the club’s finances to get even worse than they already are.

You think Top of the flops will do alright in League 1.

    No chance

  4. looking out for hurtful comments to throw at us looking for sympathy when we beat Blackburn.

2 weeks after we have confirmed our place in League 1.

Anything apart from doing anything constructive like the useless tw at is supposed to do

    Top of the flops

  5. And people were defending him posting from Portugal.

You just knew it was going to be our very own Joleen Lescott moment.

Owners at fault no doubt but get this fella gone.

This says everything about Aiyatwatt. We are staring relegation in the face and he still cannot bring himself to acknowledge it. No honesty, no accountability, no leadership. Just sterile PR bs from a moron utterly removed from the damage he has done to our club.

Who in their right mind would employ this cretin if he had to look for a job?
