Top could do a.lot.worse.than make him redundant. There won't be many contracts to negotiate. Everyone will be going and we will not be getting a lot in.

Even in the last window we are not learning. Aribo, how much has he cost us? High earner at Saints. Could not get in their team. Do not like or dislike the player as not seen him. The Chelsea lad has barely been in the bench. Just evidence of further waste.

He'll need to stop kicking the can that is Rudkin down the road and well....actually start kicking the can that is rudkin out of the club.

He could claim all was well in the last 2 relegations when the crowds remained stable.

Now they have fallen off a cliff (bar that one) and ir won't change as long as hes still here.

They will throw a bone to us plebs but nothing changes until Tefjon goes.

Can't have both as hes now discovered

People are so painfully thick as ****. They have zero comprehension of football, finance or the future. This is about forcing much needed change and holding the people to account that have systematically destroyed the club from within.

These "fans" will be the same cretins that are stood there with a shocked, gormless look on their face when the club announces its in administration. "Oh my god, we can't believe it. Came out of nowhere! Up the King Power".

    Christ.

'Thinking of you at this difficult time Top xxxx' Foxes never quit

  4. Id say the orders from above will be to throw in a few youngsters to take the heat off.

The gruesome twosome were probably taken by surprise on Tuesday by the reaction to it in the ground and from the wider international media.

They know there'll be more attention tomorrow night so they might try and encourage the youth.

Not that it'll make much difference hopefully.

I fear that it will be another weird, haphazard/ill-thought-out appointment.

The safe option, if he's ready for a return to football, would be Pearson - knows the DNA of the club, as he essentially built the modern identity of LCFC. Not a Guardiola possession merchant though, so I doubt Top will be interested.

Wildcards? Dave Challinor, Danny Cowley? Christian Fuchs? Again, we need someone who can connect with the fans and bring back a bit of goodwill - though it may be too soon for him. Though tbh, doubt they are paying for a manager from anywhere.

It's Pearson way out in front of everyone.

The only downside would be it would take time and there'll still be KPFC fans who follow the gospel of cliff who won't take to him

And if hes OK to do it more importantly.

I'd steer clear of our ex players. It's not a surefire route to success.  Only Diego Simeone has bucked the trend AFAIK

If we sell Seagrave to Forest, that's the redline from which we never recover.

That would immediately make Forest the sponge for all of the talent we were due to get and consign us to just another football league team going forward.

We'd have essentially bankrupted ourselves to build the future of midlands football then given it to our rivals for pennies on the pound.

Tops whole family would be persona non grata at that point.

I'd say we're long past that point now.

Top lost the wider room long ago.

  7. The ostriches at board level have been able to tip toe around Rudkin since 2023 but the last week has made his position untenable now.

The fans are turned away largely due to him.

If they don't solve that the reputation of the ownership will never recover (maybe it never will regardless)

The Aiyawatt love in is ludicrous. Vichai gets too much credit but, you could say, he had the money to purchase us, was in control during the title win and the vast majority of the 2019-21 squad were signed in his tenure. It is overblown but at least the basis is more sound.

Aiyawatt has been in charge for 7 and a half years, through multiple relegations and financial turmoil, yet all he still requires is "help"? Jesus.

Has Lineker been out with his usual club putting down yet?

The thailand thing was overblown alright from the get go.

Id still look upon Vichai a lot more favorably. There's no way we fall to League One under him.

The first sign of trouble under the son and we folded like a cheap suit.

You knew it was over after 22/23.

There's no way back for him now.

  9. It was a tough watch that Ricardo was a target of the anger last night and he didn't respond.

In time I would be way more forgiving of him than I would be of nearly else connected to this season.

He was probably the 2nd best right back in the league behind Alexander Arnold before the horrible injury just before covid which really impacted us when the season restarted.

You cant deny his time has long gone though

there seems to be a lot of fans of other clubs who are revelling in our downfall.

    Meh

Like some of ours werent giving it the big un to spurs or arsenal the last week. Not that bothered.

In regards to cheating. Well were not the only club under fire due to FFP

I want to say I'm beyond caring but the reality is I'm so angry.

"It is what it is" is a term I've heard frequently but the thing that makes you chuckle is that it was totally avoidable and totally their fault lol

I wouldn't feel so bad about going to League One if I had confidence that this would be a factory reset and action started today, but the reality is that board will remain unchanged and thus our trajectory too will remain the same. Heads need to roll on this occasion for me to take Top seriously, but as that will not be the case, we'll just carry on with this poisonous cycle. I'm truly sick to death of the fact that I don't feel like I have a football club I can back anymore, they don't represent me and my values, not to mention do I feel like a valued fan - I'm just seen as a paying customer.

Wish I didn't care, but I do and I'm beyond frustrated.

It's different this time to 2023.

There wasnt enough anger at the terrible relegation that time. They tried to spin it as a momentary lapse and the crowds remained high.

The crowds plummeted halfway through this season. They were no longer buying KPFC nonsense.

They've nowhere left to go. Last night was the final straw for the current leadership

  12. You knew the week of the Sheffield Wednesday and Swansea games that it was all over.

Too many empty promises over the years that last night was inevitable.

I wanted it over and done with after last Saturday. Shame for those who were there last night (well the non KPFC lot) but Rudkin and Nepo Baby had this coming which has exposed their uselessness to the wider public.

There's no way back for Top now. Hes got no more ace to play.
