I agree with ya mate. Not sure why Ipswich fan seems to think ‘a lot of us’ are entitled, cocky or not classy. Some are but each to their own. There was a time when we were a yoyo club but those days have long gone. What we’ve achieved since 2015 has fundamentally changed us as a club, how other elite clubs see us. We can’t go back to what we were despite this relegation which everyone knows was a fiasco that should never have happened. We inflicted self harm. Leicester simply does not belong in this league and this season will be seen as an anomaly in the anals of history. This is a fact not arrogance. Our criticism towards our team performances is because we know they can perform better. I would even go so far as saying it’s disrespectful not to show up every game and dismantle the opposition. We are merely looking ahead and planning for the level we will need to be at to compete again in the premier league that’s all.

Ok I’m not going to start on a negative. we played well initially dominating with our usual style. Ipswich couldn’t hang with us or they hadn’t woken up. There were so many sweet moves from KDH, Mavadid and Recardo. Moves the opposition can only marvel. For most of that 1st half we showed our superiority over Ipswich. what we didn’t do was back that superiority up with goals.there was a lack of focus, composure, confidence and aggression in both KDH and Ricardo’s missed opportunities. That’s 2 chances that would have easily put us up 3-0. For me that’s game over even if Ipswich were to rally 2nd half. In fact it would have put us in prime position to tear them apart as they get desperate to fly forwards. This is game management. So what happened has a sense of inevitability. We tried to score but their keeper stepped up his game, chances became harder to create now, we started to tire and Ipswich made subs freshened up and increased their intensity. Now we couldn’t hang with their pressure. Enzo had a majestic view of this unfolding from the stands. His pep like expression of disappointment was there for all to see. I hope and pray he can finally fix this issue fast! Like the set piece fiasco under Rogers last season if this is a reoccurring problem and it doesn’t get addressed Enzo will feel the heat. That nice point cushion lead will not hold for too much longer. end of rant!

Yes its about consistency. Either the refs let these tackle go as yellows or they are all red card sendings off. harsh on us as we lost a good player for 3 games while ipswich get a warning with a yellow. Absolute bollox!

Enzo will not go defensive ala Coventry game. For one we are 11 v 11 and clearly dominating. He will of course tell them to be more ruthless and clinical in front of goal. Also Ipswich will try to do some things different and up the intensity. Here lies the opportunity for us. The pressure is on Ipswich if we play our cards right. If we are going to compete again in the Premier we really have to start to be more ruthless. Chances are slim and if we don't take them we pay for it. The game can always become a tale of 2 halves.

I didn’t get to say how cathartic it was to hear Ric vent his anger about losing to Coventry. It’s how I felt inside. we may very well finish top and get promoted but I will be very annoyed if we didn’t beat our closest challengers along the way or those that aspired to be rivals in a derby. it will be a slight stain we’d have to wear and critics will say you won promotion but didn’t beat any teams of real quality. Kinda like teams in the premier league who are never good enough because they always lose to the top teams but beat up on the rest.
