  1. Feel sorry for him. Lacks confidence and has played in a struggling team. Instead of slagging him off we need try and get the best out of him. I'm not going to write him off yet.
  2. 30 million release clause in his contract, apparently. Knowing what we know now, we would have broken the bank to keep Kante (i.e. offered him a ridiculous monthly wage). I know its early, but it feels like we have found another diamond. Do we break the bank to try and keep him at the club?
  3. The biggest single reason why Jamie Vardy isn't scoring so many goals now is because opposing teams have sussed us out and defend deeper. If we change our style of play, instead of just lumping the ball over the top, then he may start scoring again. Or perhaps we should ask the psychologist to pop down to Belvoir Drive and have a word with the boys eh? I'm sure that'll do the trick.
  4. If this shrink was so bloody important then surely Jamie Vardy could have retained his services in a private capacity? The biggest single reason why Jamie Vardy started to score goals for Leicester City is because Claudio Ranieri moved him from the wing to a more central position. The biggest single reason why Jamie Vardy isn't scoring so many goals now is because opposing teams have sussed us out and defend deeper. Jesus Christ, a twelve year old could tell you that. It has nothing to do with the retention of the club psychologist.
  5. But isn't he too chummy with the players? What if he needs to drop players? Change things around?
  6. Lots of interesting comments. The general consensus amongst some fans seems here seems to be that CR dismantled the infrastructure and well oiled machine (created by NP) that served LCFC so well. That we have good players, and that CR benefitted from the recruitment, methodology and approaches of NP, including the recruitment and retention of a sports psychologist. This obviously goes against the popular narrative in the national and international media which is that CR was some sort of genius who took a bunch of average journeymen pros and beat all the odds. Now that CR has departed, is it unreasonable to expect an improvement in form and results?
  7. Agree. He's played out of position and is desperately low on confidence. His performance suggested (lack of effort) that he didn't want to play in that position. He was absolutely abysmal. We probably aren't the right team for him. Does that mean he is shit? Not necessarily. Watching Radamel Falcao yesterday against Man City was unbelievable. Was this the same player who had such a terrible time last year? I think the same can be said for Musa. Put him in a different team and he'll probably do a lot better. It's just not happening for him at Leicester.
  8. Steve Walsh.
  9. Poor guy, he knows he had a ****ing awful game. I actually feel sorry for him.
  10. I'm not saying he's anything special, but his role in the team last year was vital. And that goal against Newcastle was absolutely crucial in maintaining our momentum towards the title. He's been ****ing infuriating to watch this season. Falling over every two seconds like he's Bambi. And his lack of ruthlessness cost us yesterday.
  11. Complete bullshit. He was integral to the team that won last year. Granted, he along with a few other players hasn't been any good this season but that doesn't take anything away from his achievements last season. Remember that goal he scored against Newcastle? Was that "dog shit"?
