You're mixing up revenue with earnings. Your club has been generating a net loss for at least the last three years: 92M GBP in 21-22, 90M in 22-23 and about 20M in 23-24. How do you think that will go now that you are back in the Championship? I'll give you a hint, it's going to be redder than red. The money KP loses from owning Leicester is way higher than the losses we incur, or incurred at least because we're very much going to be in the green both this season and the next. Oh, and five years ago you were competing for Europe but since then you've been relegated twice. PS: Not to be disrespectful to you but you obviously know ef all about my club, so maybe go make your assumptions somewhere else. Thanks.

Don't mean this rudely but what do KP actually gain from owning Leicester? A club that jojos back and forth between the Championship and the PL isn't exactly a moneymaker either, and probably far more costly than owning a stable first divison club in Belgium. Not only that, but we're a football club in a very interesting economic region, with very little competition from other teams, closest being Mechelen and maybe Westerlo both to the north. East (all the way to Sint-Truiden) and south is a big blind spot with a huge potential for an additional fanbase and sponsorship deals. Interestingly, he's been a very solid defender for us but he needs someone next to him with more coaching and leadership to really shine. He's not exactly been helped by Coleman altering our defense (and the team in general) literally every game. Can't imagine him not being on the longlist. His firing five years ago was justified after a horrible second half of the season and losing the first leg of the promotion final against Beerschot. But he's grown a lot since then, and what he's doing with Dender is nothing short of spectacular considering their team and resources. That said, there are quite a few other Belgian options on the market, like Geraerts (great spell at Union), De Roeck (did very well at Antwerp before he got fired, which nobody really understood as he overperformed with the team they had), maybe even Hein Vanhaezebrouck (tactically one of the best in Belgium, currently on an at least one year hiatus).

To be honest, we had the better chances and should always been ahead before that absolutely undeserved red card around the hour mark. After that it was just hanging on to the point. In other news, threw away a 0-2 lead at Westerlo yesterday for yet another draw, whicn in itself isn't a bad result. We'll need something from the next game in Mechelen though. And probably without Banzuzi, who is on his way to Leipzig for 16M.
-
It's even better because it doesn't account for the summer transfer window, which saw us in a net positive of about 10M at least. Assuming this year will be pretty much break even, and with the pending sale of Banzuzi (15M price tag at least) we'll be in the green for next year as well!
-
Another huge missed opportunity to secure another season in the top flight because Coleman just doesn't allow us to go forward.
-
It looks like you can, as from what I hear the plan is to find a new manager after this season. Nothing against him, and he seems to have a really effective lucky rabbit foot somewhere, but despite the results there's a real lack of a clear 'football philosophy' apparently. Which is fine for now, as it's about the points at this stage of the season, but he has no clear vision towards next year apparently.
-
Another buzzer goal, this time by Banzuzi, to grab us a very satisfying point away at fifth placed Antwerp.
-
Absolutely undeserved but absolutely very important three points yesterday. Turned it around in the final minutes from 1-2 to 3-2 through a (deserved) penalty and a moment of genius of Mijatovic on his debut with the winner.
-
Correct, financially way out of our league unfortunately. There are talks about a possible extension for next season though, so fingers crossed on that. Anyway, great win yesterday with ten vs twelve. Temporarily six points clear of the playdowns, and with some luck it stays that way.

Official now, here we go! Jovan Mijatovic tekent bij OH Leuven - OHL - Oud-Heverlee Leuven
-
About to reveal the signing of Jovan Mijatovic (presumably on loan) from New York as well. Big one for us, this.
-
Assuming they mainly need to sign off on things (which can be a stumbling block, as Bonanza explained). Day to day operations and transfer are afaik handled by our CEO and the new sporting director (who, in my opinion, have done very well in the short time since they arrived). On KP, I'm still convinced they're good for us. As Bonanza said, they're very good on the financial side, contrary to a lot of other Belgian clubs with foreign owners. And I'm still convinced that we will easily get a top ten spot this season, and even top eight is not out of the question. Only thing lacking right now is goals, defensively we're very stable but we need that bit of luck in front of goal.. Yesterday was a prime example of that, plenty of chances but got a ball cleared from the line twice.

Lost 2-0 to league leaders Genk, who were down to ten men after six minutes, through two idiotic penalties and after missing three sitters.
-
Which makes sense, considering we're not your feeder club. Considering the way he's been developing, he's remarkably close and probably will be by the end of the season if he keeps this up. But Monaco would probably be the best place for him to take the next step, and then an absolute top club in a year or two, three max.
-
When he turns up (which is quite often lately) an absolute baller of a striker and probably one of, if not the best in Belgium. Still has his occasional games where he just disappears though, like recently in Genk and against us at the start of December. Van Helden has potential but the step up to Premier League football would be far too big for him imo. Bayram's probably better at this point, still don't get why Galatasaray let him leave. Either way, there are quite a few CB's that are further ahead in terms of development, like Ordonez (Club Brugge), Zeno Van den Bosch (Antwerp) or Sadick (Genk).
-
Skov has some serious mentality issuses, also the main reason why he's still playing for Club Brugge and hasn't been able to secure a move to a bigger league. Tolu could be good but feels like an Onuachu story, who has a similar profile, scored loads of goals for Genk but now can't even get off the bench at Southampton.
-
At right back, El Ouahdi (same club as Bilal) is imo the one to watch. Only 23, moved from just promoted RWDM to Genk in the summer of 2023, and has made some stellar progress. Technically decent, great mentality and an amazing amount of volume. For me by far the best one in the league. Zakaria El Ouahdi - Player profile 24/25 | Transfermarkt On the left, De Cuyper from Club Brugge is probably the best one. Excellent crosser, great technicals, another one with a solid mentality and a bit of a set piece specialist as well. Six caps for Belgium and recently scored his first goal against Italy. Maxim De Cuyper - Player profile 24/25 | Transfermarkt Less sure about the wing. I really like Tzolis from Club Brugge personally. When it comes to young potentials yet to break through, I believe Tristan Degreef from Anderlecht is the one to watch. And if you're looking for a striker, I believe Promise David from Union could very well be their next Victor Boniface.

At the end of the current season!

Great 2-0 win over last placed Beerschot, sees us into 11th place now, four points clear of the relegation playdowns and five points off the championship playoffs. Makes it extra sour that we lost one/three points last weekend, which would have seen us propel up to 7th.. Short winter break now, after which we play away at Club Bruges in the cup on 7/1, then go to league leaders Genk on 11/1 and travel to in form Union the week after. And then it's two home games. If we pick up 5 points from those games, we'll already have more than at the end of the regular season last year, with six games to go so I'm very confident that we'll avoid the playdowns and finish somewhere between spot 8 and 12, unless we do some real magic during the winter window.
-
Absurdly missed opportunity yesterday. We were the better team (or the least worst, depending on how you look at it) for the entire game, but couldn't find the back of the net and then got a soft pen against in the 96st (!) minute after only four minutes were added.
-
Five mil and he's yours! Great lad, good at holding the ball but can't score a goal for the life of him.
-
Maybe you guys should loan some of our youngsters, seems like you could do with some improvement as well.
-
Fourteen goals in our last ten official games, cup and league combined. Not fantastic, but also not horrible. Whilst I appreciate the idea, I think we have plenty of attacking players who have already shown more than him on the professional stage, it's one position where we are definitely not lacking (and will probably even recover our best player, Maertens in the next few weeks, making competition even fiercer).
-
Important context: We've drawn pretty much every game since either of those two.
