Another terrible batting performance today from Leicestershire, set up for a real drubbing at the hands of Glamorgan. That's two batting collapses in four days, starting to worry me now. Bad toss to lose but haven't won any out of seven tosses this season so far, so slightly unlucky there. Also on Friday, we should've comfortably beat Northants in the T20, three dropped catches and very ill disciplined bowling i.e. wides and no balls cost us the game after a very good total was put on the board by the batsmen. Not all doom and gloom, but the last few days have smacked of last season, the next three days won't bring much hope either v Glamorgan I reckon. Need to go back to basics and try and build on the competitiveness they showed in the first few games.

Buck looks fantastic so far this season, good contest being setup against Hampshire, hope we get them 4 runs tomorrow and get to 300.

Absolutely ridiculous bowling so embarassing too watch bowlers haven't got a clue...batsman not in best of form it's a disaster!

And it's not getting any easier to read either. Goodwin and Rana have their centuries, the lead is over 200 and Leicestershire are staring an innings defeat in the face I feel. One question I have is that Wayne White, who has been a revelation so far this season has only bowled 7 overs in the innings, why?

Can't see it improving much next season, we need a couple of good signings ideally in the bowling department, but, this year huh, has Tim Boon even given the team aims and targets for the season because they just seem to be playing for the salary, I honestly feel Boon should leave Leicestershire!

No it's correct Daniel Masters, brother of ex-player David, has been on trial with us playing 2nd team cricket since pre-season, must have been doing okay to get a nod in the 1st team today, and, Charlie Dagnall makes a shock return to first class cricket, he last played 5 years ago and retired due to injury having had operations for continuous shin problems, took up a career in media working on Radio Leicester as we know but he's taken a break from that for a few weeks, he says he is fit and wants a return so Leicestershire have given him the opportunity at the age of 33. He will have to be on top form today if Leicestershire are to defend 159!

Now you watch how they score 600 and we lose by an innings because our batsmen are rubbish. I can't understand Tim Boon he signs Carl Crowe when Jigar Naik is much younger and a much better bowler, he's started the season much better, he doesn't select Alex Wyatt who had such a good game against the West Indies, Boon shows nothing for me, he's took Leicestershire way down hill since he took over, Claude Henderson our best spinner not playing because of some maximum 3 player overseas rule in the starting XI, the guy doesn't know what hes doing and we look like where going to be battered by any side with him in charge!!!

Breathtaking tennis credit to Federer for putting Up a good fight and Nadal for holding on, surely the greatest final, and it will be them two again next year without a doubt! TWO CHAMPIONS.

Since Tim Boon has come in it has occured to me that several of our top players have left the club, see the list: Ottis Gibson - Durham Darren Maddy - Warwickshire David Masters - Essex and now.... Stuart Broad - Nottinghamshire also a good prospect named.... Chris Liddle - Sussex He then signs players like Mansoor Amjad, Jerome Taylor, RP Singh, Charl Langeveldt as our overseas players, Charl and Singh aren't bad but we need proven runscorers and wicket takers not upcoming amateur internationals who struggle at that level. We won't win anything next season, this coach doesn't seem to know how to offer players good contracts and they all make their mind up pretty quickly, as a big Leicestershire fan i am deeply upset.
