Video of the UB section trials this summer. Managed to get along to the second game and they were excellent. It’s embarrassing how far ahead their scene is of ours.

UB are in the Copland against HSV on Saturday. Very much look forward to being in the middle of it! Rangers have said that for any safe standing trial games moving forward, they will hold back as many tickets as Broomloan Collective (UB’s wider fan group - like Green Brigade has North Curve) needs for it’s members - essentially handing ticket control of that section over to UB. BC currently have 1000+ members and they will have priority for standing. Pretty good by the club to hand over a bit of power to fan groups.

I was genuinely gobsmacked when I read that. I can’t think of a manager off the top of my head that’s had a worse season than Goodwin and they’ve given him the job. Crazy stuff!

I doubt weird sour beers will be my scene but it’s close enough to my hotel so can’t hurt to try. Cheers!

Bit of solo pinting in Edinburgh this weekend so any boozer recommendations would be appreciated.

Any pubs in Glasgow that I should really make a point of visiting? Will be in the city centre on Saturday evening and then for an hour or two after the Old Firm on Sunday.
