Was told an heartbreaking story today from a nurse. He had sat with an unvaccinated patient who was dying from Covid, this patient had also encouraged his parents not to get vaccinated who then caught Covid and died. He said that the patient just kept saying “I’ve killed my parents, I’ve killed my parents”
Oh dear, how sad, what a shame. I feel bad for the parents but not for the patient.

Who's the best defender you've faced?, published at10:57
Callum Wilson and Michail Antonio have revealed the toughest defenders they've faced - and this pair shape up well.
"I can't say anything negative about Virgil van Dijk," Antonio says on the new Footballer's Football podcast. "He's quick, he's strong, he's good on the ball - and he's good-looking. He's got it all."
When Antonio lines up against Liverpool's defensive colossus, he chooses to make his life easier.
"I back myself against anyone and no-one is stronger than me," he says. "But if I can avoid playing on Van Dijk, I'll go up against his buddy instead.
"And to be fair, as much as he is quality, I've got a decent record against Liverpool."
For Wilson, it was Leicester's legendary title-winning captain Wes Morgan who taught him his first lesson in Premier League football.
"I was thinking: 'I'm quicker than him.' But I wasn't and then I tried to give him the shoulder and he just stood still," Wilson says.
"That was when I realised it was a serious league, different to the others. I can't just rely on my pace and power - I have to use my mind more."
I always get the impression that would be a limitation for Callum Wilson.

I would love to see a similar study in the UK.

Anyone seen any good deals for summer holiday 2022? Any websites with good offers etc? I’m debating between cheaper holiday in Europe or do everything myself and book to go to America. America was the original plan but country has become quite expensive now with prices on everything up over there. Wouldn’t mind Thailand but heard it can be pretty wet in August so it puts me off a bit.
May, June, July, August, September and the first part of October can be very wet in Thailand. It is also prone to flooding. That's the bad news but the good news is that although it rains, the downpours last for an hour and then two hours later you would never know it happened.

I'm judging nobody who writes here, but I often wonder if talking about this stuff here does any of us any good.
Don't get me wrong, the case being discussed is sickening, and I don't doubt your collective sincerity in what you all say. I also defend your right to do so, but I think that sometimes we enjoy the spectacle of such horrors - somewhat like traffic slowing to inspect an accident.
I apologise if this gets backs up, genuinely. The world can be dreadful enough, this thread just happens to reinforce that point at times.
It does. I get no jollys from listening to Arthur say nobody loves me or reading about the horrific circumstances of his life. Nor did I get get any jollys from posting about this poor girl below. it behoves us all to intervene if we can, to protect those that cannot protect themselves.

21yrs for the dad.
29yrs for the mum.
A sentence too small for each for the pain inflicting on their harmless innocent young boy.
Whole life would not be too long for these cvnts.

Think Villa will be doing a minutes applause on 6 minutes at our match Sunday for the poor lad.
Hope our fans who are not big on these sort of gestures at least show some respect.I thought Arthur was a Brum fan?

To me inclusion of This paragraph suggests the writer and publisher are not objective
Wakey, wakey that is the whole point of the article, to show that fit and healthy persons are not immune from the serious consequences of Covid.

Right who's at fault here....
We've been decorating and the missus was furniture painting her dressing table upstairs in her dressing room. I went in this evening tp put something back in there and turned the light on, (the light switch is a little way into the room), as i turn the light on i turn and kick over a tin of paint that was left with the lid off and goes everywhere....
I havent said its her fault and she said yeah it was yours
i said in my defence who leaves an open tin of paint on the floor in the middle of the room. Well she's gone off saying i always turn it round on her
again i'v said im not saying its your fault but its not mine either haha
Nothing like a good old fishing line thrown to the public to see some opinions...so lets hear them
The current Mrs Steven says it is your fault.
