  1. Leicester scout Sean St Ledger (yes, really!) was at Celtic Park on Thursday evening to watch Kristoffer Ajer against Lazio, according to the Daily Mail. More info here: https://foxeshub.com/senior-scout-sean-st-ledger-attends-celtic-match/
  2. Leicester City have appointed Callum Smithson as the club's new Head of Technical Scouting. He replaces Ollie Waldron, who joined Bordeaux in March. Read our story here: http://bit.ly/SmithsonAppointed
  3. The club have appointed experienced scout Philippe Pelluault (from Celtic, surprisingly!) to cover games in France and Belgium. Having a quick look into his background, it seems like an excellent appointment. More info here: https://foxeshub.com/leicester-hire-french-scout-from-celtic/
  4. New faces for U23s U23s lost 1-0 to Hednesford Town last night (July 19) A few interesting names in the starting XI: Mitch Clark - right-back just signed from Aston Villa Callum Nicell - highly-rated Leeds United midfielder who's under contract with them for another year Adam Lovatt - Hastings United midfielder, was on trial with us at the back end of last season Omar Mussa - Belgian youth international just left Walsall due to relegation Several players left out that could be involved v Cheltenham today: Daley-Campbell, Johnson, Knight, Dewsbury-Hall, Wright, Leshabela, Ndukwu, Hirst. More info below: https://foxeshub.com/leeds-starlet-among-new-u23-faces/
  5. I believe former U23s assistant Nicky Eaden recommended Lupano to the club for trial. Eaden's praised him for his attitude and has backed him to make a career for himself in the professional game. https://foxeshub.com/former-leicester-coach-praises-trialist-danny-lupano/
  6. Thanks Brucey, really appreciate your kind words! Great to see that the Srivaddhanaprabha family are continuing Vichai's legacy wherever they can.
  7. Our Under-17s won the inaugural Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Cup at Belvoir Drive on Thursday. What a great gesture from the club to name this tournament after the late Khun Vichai. Our boys beat AFC Bournemouth in the final and it seems that the tournament is going to become an annual thing as the Cherries have already been invited back for next year. Read more here: https://foxeshub.com/under-17s-win-vichai-srivaddhanaprabha-cup/ P.S. Leicester put out a strong side for this tournament, which got me thinking: which of our youth players have you heard good things about? Would love to hear everyone's thoughts!
  8. We recently researched and published a feature on FoxesHub.com about what Leicester City's scouting department could look like under Lee Congerton. Feel free to have a read: https://foxeshub.com/what-leicesters-scouting-department-could-look-like-under-lee-congerton/
