This thread is 10% about Martin and 90% pure frustration at the club and the last few years of pain
its a very grim read and tbh the amount of hatred on this forum isn’t good for anyone’s mental health
everyone has an opinion but it’s turned into pure mob mentality hatred
the worst thing we can currently have this guy for is not liking his tactics or a crap spell at rangers - or quite simply he looks like a smarmy git - none of the above crimes of the century against us but the personal and even semi constructive comments are still well over the top in a negative way
I know my football as well as anyone and have seen the last 30 years as much as any of you on here and the continued negative outpost of hatred right now just doesn’t help anything or anyone
And yes this is a forum and yes your entitled to your opinion but let’s at least try and keep it constructive- would you talk to the guys face in the way you do on here ? And if you would your a really crap example of a decent human being
I’ll be giving him a chance - I don’t love the appointment but now it’s done the negative and hatred has to stop - take that into the ground again from August and it will be another tough place to be on a Saturday and I don’t want my young daughter to hear it or see it again this year - we as a fan base are as responsible as anyone to change the feeling around the place and it has to start somewhere
Totally agree. Some people on here are so anti Leicester its unbelievable, makes you wonder why they spend most of their day on a Leicester City fans forum if they hate everything about the club. Its not an ideal appointment but we now have to accept he is here and hope he can turn things around

I don't doubt it for a moment but I suspect there are some clever tech-savvy people on here who will have a lot of fun with the highlighted part!
Im sure there is (and im certainly not one of them) i am however convinced its true as on the photos the word 'shoot' is not mentioned once

I have just heard from a family member who has a close friend within the club that Russell Martin IS the new manager and i have seen photos of the presentation he has given. Only saying what i have been told but the source is usually very reliable

They’d bring the report on Anstey Nomads. Which is probably more our level tbf
And probably resign Conrad Logan

I see Anstey Nomads have announced a pre season friendly at home to Mansfield. Perhaps we could send a spy and try to gain a bit of an advantage 🤔

Even year-month-day would be more logical
That´s it. I´m officially out of things to say. When do the fixtures come out?

Will be interesting if there is anything that comes to light on his exit from the club and his relationship with certain senior people within the club.
Why do you think its being shown after his return for the 5000-1 match 🤣

Final night of the Premier League tonight. Ive not watched a great deal of it and you would more than likely go for the 2 Lukes in the final but i would love to see Johnny Clayton win it just to mix things up a bit.

How much do you think it costs the club to open the stadium for half a day?
£3k?
How much have we paid these players to turn up?
Now we’re giving tickets away for free/reimbursing fans
How much will the club lose on this smoke and mirrors charade?
Its costs £40,000 to open up the ground for a womens game

This could well be a really dim question but I'll ask anyway.
I've been offered a job which can be taken as either self employed or employed by the company. The self employed is £2 p/h more but doesn't include holiday pay. I also have no experience of working self employed so would need to figure out the tax side of things.
What would be the best option?
If you earn £2/hour more and work 40 hours a week thats an extra £80 obviously. How many weeks would you need to work for that extra £80 pay for you to have a day/week off? Also like you say you will get no sick pay self employed and you will probably need an accountant to check over your books if you are not 100% sure what you are doing so that will be a good few hundred quid a year. I went self employed and just work as a sole trader and it does have its perks, days off when you want etc.. but I earnt more being employed but I had had enough of the hassle with how the company I worked for operated so I just had to get out. Its your call at the end of the day but to me the benefits of being employed outweigh self employed especially if you are doing the same job at the same place of work for a small percentage extra.
Good luck whichever way you choose

Have you bought anything at previous games that didn’t get charged? One of my friends had a charge come through 3 weeks later after he’d bought something in the concourse.
Very much doubt it. Not bought anything from the club shop for well over 12 months and whilst we do occasionally get things in the concourse the wife checks the bank accounts at least daily and she would have noticed if anything was outstanding.

As if this club havent caused me enough pain already this season, just found out ive been a victim of fraud, the location none other than Leicester City football club! apparently i spent c60 quid on the afternoon of the PNE game at the club despite being over 100 miles away and not attending since the Oxford debarcle!!
Similar thing happened to us 2-3 weeks ago. The wife noticed just over £16 had gone out of our account to LCFC. She rang the bank to question it and they told her the payment was made through her Google Pay account and if she reported it as fraudulant she would be unable to use the account for payments. As we were on holiday at the time she let it go but now its obviously not a one off it may be worth looking in to and one for everybody else to keep an eye on.
