  1. Can confirm as someone living in the Netherlands now. Even though they're right across the water from England the cultural differences can be huge. They're just way more direct and no beating around the bush style but this can be seen as super rude if you're not familiar with it (a lot of them are straight up willy pullers and hide behind "ohh I'm just being direct" mask too). It just doesn't mix well with the English culture where you just say something and mean something completely different and the Dutch simply can't compute that
  2. Absolute monster of a performance today! Now, his performance before he got dropped by BR wasn't good and if you'd asked him he would told you himself that he wasn't happy with his levels. But the fact that he's been totally banished in the entirety of the season shows how much of begrudging of a guy BR is. I personally think he deserved to be dropped perhaps a few games to help him get his act together but not playing him the entire season is absolute madness. I wonder if he'll give an interview at some point revealing what actually happened between him and Rodgers. I hope he stays, they don't name you in the team of the season for no reason in the most difficult league in the world.
  3. "We ArE MuCh BeTteR At SeT PiEcEs DeFenDing WiTh FoFaNa AnD EvAnS". Well no we are not. This is a coaching issue not a players issue. It's clearly a coaching decision to mark Abraham with Ricardo.
  4. I don’t think this is a squad quality issue. We barely missed a CL spot two years in a row with arguably a weaker side than we are now. It seems as if the team has lost its spirit and drive to have go at it. Even Wilf seems to be jogging around and doesn’t seem to care much. As a whole, it’s a motivational issue imo.
  5. This could have been Tielemans' worst game that he's played in Leicester shirt.
  6. We play like those NBA players whose skills stolen by the aliens in the movie Space Jam. Can't explain this with anything else.
  7. Why is Kasper so damn scared to rush out? Like you have the advantage of using you arms rush out and grab f*** ball for f*** sake!
  8. I agree. That would be too risky especially if he doesn't have to be there to play. But I think it may have been a rumor that I heard on Radio Leicester from Ian Stringer. I feel like he may have mentioned it as a rumor but I don't think Brendan ever confirmed that at any point as it sounds like he doesn't even wanna talk about/give update on Under at all in pressers.
  9. I've heard that couple of times maybe somewhere in this forum that Under went back to Turkey too. Was that confirmed? I don't think he ever got back to Turkey during the international break given he wasn't selected due to his injury. But, Cags' post indeed says "I missed him" with Under sitting across him makes me think Under has been in England recovering from injury all along and Cags has just flown back to Leicester to reunite with him.
  10. Why do our players seem to keep slipping? What's wrong with this pitch?
  11. Cags has been terrific to help us see through this pressure.
  12. And 5 months older than Barnes. It's interesting how some commentators always mention Harvey as "Young Harvey Barnes" (I'm talking about you Pipes!) but Under is seen as someone who should make immediate impact and score goals/assists in a new country/league. As mentioned before the guy hasn't even made two first eleven appearances in a row.
  13. Fair play. The only reservation that I have for your opinion is that rotation for that position especially is a bit riskier than any other position on the pitch as you want that strong partnership in the middle of the defense. I'd love Cags-Fofana to be more patient and accept to be benched at times for the next two years. Then Evans turns 35 already in two years and you have two brilliant centre backs in the middle to replace him. I'm just not sure how realistic for that to happen. In BR we trust.
  14. I know he's just returned from a serious injury and potentially not 100% fully match fit yet but I don't know how much longer he'd be happy with being on the bench for the premiership and only play in FA/Europa League games. He's just too good to be a sub. He'd rather go play for a different premier league side instead of sitting on the bench. We're talking about someone who was in the best eleven of the league last year. It's great for the team that Fofana was so quick adapting to the league and to a new country and he's been brilliant so far but personally it's bad news for Cags unless the club sees Cags-Fofana centre as the future of the club.
