  1. Or am I reading that wrong?
  2. It says here that he was on loan to Ajax last season but is now back at Metz
  3. Oh no, this guy was unbelievable for Georgia tonight!! Can't believe we actually tried to sign him and missed out 😱
  4. We need to sign this guy. He was immense for Georgia tonight
  5. Looks like Scotland deployed a version of Enzo ball, mountains of possession but only 3 shots on target over the whole tournament 😂😂
  6. The club is very special. Most of us were less than excited by Claudios appointment at first and look what happened then
  7. 39% possession eh, just shy of us in 2015/16 at 42%. As I recall, that season didn't pan out too shabby 😂 Speaking of which, I was working in the garage with Radio 2 on and they were playing the 1990 pop charts. Nessun Dorma came on as it reached No2 after being used as a theme tune during Italia 90. Took me right back to that day in May 2016 when Bocelli belted it out on the pitch. We've had our ups and downs since then and we've all been guilty of getting frustrated when it seems so difficult to get back to those heights again. It does feel like somethings missing since Vichai died but just take a step back, watch that video again and be proud of our wonderful club. Relegation hit all of us hard but we always thrived on being the underdog. Lets just forget all the off the pitch crap that non of us can do anything about and get the King Power rocking, no matter who's in charge. We can do this!!
  8. By gum, there's actually some real positivity on here now, which is nice. It's going to be a tough season but I reckon if we all get behind Cooper and the team, we can actually start building something good again. Really looking forward to what the new season brings now. There will be plenty of ups and downs but I think it might be quite refreshing 👍 Now then ....... That's enough positivity for one day, let's talk about England 😱😂
  9. Lets get positive FFS. Most of us were worried that Enzo ball might see us bomb in the Prem so we have the chance of a more pragmatic flexible approach. Not my first choice but I'm getting quite upbeat about a fresh more attacking style. Is it a bird, is it a plane? Nooo.... It's CooperMan, the Flying Fox!! 😂😂
  10. Blimey, so much negativity on here. Ya know what worries me most about this season, not the fact that we've got a new manager that happened to be employed by Forest for a couple of seasons (ala MON), not the fact that he won't be winning any beauty contests, not even that the football might be a bit hit and miss ......... What really worries me is that a good proportion of our fan base won't get behind the manager (and consequently the team) at a time when that is so much more important than previously. We are in danger of creating so much negativity around this that we create our own self fulfilling prophecy 😱 I would have preferred a different appointment but we are where we are, we still have a decent squad and it's absolutely imperative that we get behind the manager and the team, no matter what.
  11. Woah what's happening? Not logged on today and I seem to have missed about 50 pages! I thought Potter was odds on. Is it deffo Cooper? Or is it the case that neither us, the ITKs, the media or the bookies have a clue what's going on?
  12. Spurs at home first game then. Nightmare Christmas fixtures as usual, Liverpool away boxing day followed by Man City at home 🙄
  13. Apparently some "other" club has tried to poach Savage but he's decided to take the head coach job at Macclesfield instead. Has even the Golden Retriever turned us down?
  14. The Wortho and Weller era. The Birch was also playing then. Great entertaining football. Manager was Jimmy Bloomfield who , as you say, got us within a whisker of the UEFA Cup places 👍😁
