Yeah everyone knows their job and works hard. They also play some great stuff so it would be interesting to see what he could do with better players. That’s the only thing holding Brighton back atm individual quality going forward which Potter can’t do much about.

You look at these two teams and there’s not much to choose between them. One cost 20 times more than the other to put together and is the reigning European champions. I agree. Don’t know why he is underrated.

Yes he has a lot of knowledge.

I think Morgan maybe needed some help, which is probably why the club brought in Heskey but I'm not sure that was what was need.

We still seam to be a bit behind the curve fitness wise, but better then earlier in the season.

I think we are heading in the right direction fingers crossed. Certainly hope it continues. 👍🏻

he’s still going to get the highest wage he can. He’s got no attachment to us.  If there’s 4-5 teams in for him and we are not the highest bidders, then it’s hard to see him coming here.

No attachment apart from his best mate Kasper and vesty!!  Guarantees the eyes of the national team selectors on him. Still I’d rather see Dolberg marginally. Just not sure of the risk taken on how he will stand up to physicality required in premiership given what he went through.

  4. Mali vs Gambia was a good game. Draw should see both teams through. Pitch was a bit rough and hot weather  but didn’t stop an enjoyable game. Crowd were great with colourful supporters and non stop music and dancing. Sod the clappers let’s get the merenge going down at king power 👯‍♀️🥁🎺🎵

  5. Lookman it’s a no brainer if less than £15 million.

He adds a lot of versatility to our attacking options

Right wing I’d love to see raphina cutting in on his left and then Bissouma bossing the midfield. One can dream.

  6. Personally I really hope that youri decides to stay. A few weeks back arsenal were all over Renato Sanchez amongst others. I have been impressed with arsenal this season but they still have a way to go to be considered real contenders for the title. Their track record with bringing in and developing rising stars has not been great so I still think we offer the equivalent for youri in terms of development and growth. Arsenal will eventually move on but I’d like to see us do everything we can to convince youri to sign.
If he does go we dont need to buy an exact like for like. I’m a fan of yves Bissouma I think he is one of the most underrated CM with a proven PL track record. He may not score the goals that youri does but he is probably better defensively, more athletic, can drive the team forwards and has a bit of steel about him. Would be a great acquisition IMO.

...Birmingham had a tough one yesterday, we do not want them to start picking up points here and there!!!

We have to play them again and hope we get the victory that could put us somewhat out of their reach.

It is nowhere near going to be decided by our next head to head with Birmingham, we are going to need points from elsewhere.

Agreed. Need to keep progressing but right direction definitely.

  8. With more time for players to recuperate and return from injury plus time to work at the training ground I am hopeful that we can have a better second half of the season. This stop start  farce can’t be influenced by us but I personally have missed the games badly and can’t wait for the games to come thick and fast. COYB

Alfie Mawson? not getting a game at Fulham

I was going to mention this but thought I’d get slaughtered on here. I thought he looked like a promising talent a few years back but hasn’t kicked on for various reasons. Might be worth a punt if we could get him cheap enough or ideally on loan.

  10. Strange one. I thought he looked decent in that Wigan game and after the praise he received at Celtic. If it was for personal reasons I don’t know why we didn’t follow this course of action sooner. Likewise if he wanted to be close to home then I don’t see how the Celtic loan would have helped things.
We are all speculating but it is odd and disappointing for all sides.
The players side of the story are normally revealed in a few months time in a tabloid somewhere. Brace yourselves though as they are usually not complimentary to the club in some way.

  11. Historically there is no precedent to what we did that year but they were warriors.  Forest in the dark ages magnificent as it was is not quite the same. Championship winning teams have largely struggled in the premiership. Most of that team were unknowns or journey men. Huth had history and we had some winning experience at lower levels but as the program explained we were all but down the previous season until March when we went on the winning streak that became the great escape. We suddenly found a formula that worked in the premiership. Even then we brought in some new faces and a new manager for the title winning season. What the team did then, the way they all maintained top form, worked together in the counter attack system they did and stayed relatively injury free is the stuff of legend. Where is that feature film!

....it doesn't level out, all the comments are at a specific time and moment!!!

Like a snapshot, the comments are coloured by what has recently happened, in order to evaluate the degree of supporter satisfaction you will have to go through and effectively score all the previous comments individually and then assess the overall values.

At this moment Maddison is playing with intelligence and confidence, we have seen this before, it needs to be a matter of consistency.

I was looking at the averages over the season so the average of all the average scores in each match. That’s why I was surprised he was so low.

    On here?

I think people are normally over emotional when doing them, so don't hold much by them.

I think you are better looking at a impartial site.

Yes I think you are right. You only have to see how one week Maddison is a passenger or Brendan out of ideas and the next week they are the new messi and the greatest tactician ever.

Over time you’d expect the levels to be about right as they average out. I sound like I’m defending VAR or referees now!! 😀
