He doesn't anticipate people taking strikes at his goal and he does not anticipate danger. Couple this with the fact that he does not move his feet properly and the goal is suddenly twice as big with this twonk between the sticks. Seriously I packed in playing in goal 30 years ago but I would still classify myself as a better goalkeeper than Ward. The fact he's made a big living in the game defines belief to me. If he starts on Sunday Ruud will go down hugely in my estimations.

To be fair to Ward the defending was totally shambolic - Coady and Kristensen atrocious for the goals he conceded - he had no chance
