There was no need to spew up about the lineup after all. 2 of the much maligned players in Ayew and Skipp are having decent games and Vestergaard has probably played himself out of contention.

I think he's doing a lot more today in this role. In the previous friendlies he was having a game more akin to the one Soumare is having right now. Unremarkable. But Skipp is doing a lot of good work off the ball today, and in good positions.

But on a positive note, Vesty has made a few mistakes and Soumare has just ticked along. So they might be playing themselves out. And Fatawu scores a blinder. That's what we need to see in the season.

Well Cooper had an aversion to playing 2 wingers at the same time and Ruud never got the option. So I suppose it would depend on Ruud being shit scared like Cooper was.
