I don't think anyone needs to worry about Monga. He's 100% going to be involved in the team this season. He's not 100% to start. And at 16 that's probably a much bigger positive than you think. There's no need to start him in this. He's already shone this preseason enough.

It's a bit strange seeing how riled up people are getting as though they thought some of these players were not still at the club. If Coady was in that starting line up, yeah, that'd be a surprise. But seeing shit players in the team shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. We haven't fxxked them off yet, so he's going to play some of them. You can drop any of those shit players, and the player that comes in is going to be moaned about as shit, because a lot of them are. We know this.

Not really. We're not even sure if our opponents will even have a team.
-
I think he'll be loaned if it's possible (too young?).
-
Unless they get off to a shitter.

25mill plus addons is a good for all parties. We get a decent fee, he gets a premier league move and if his injuries are sorted, pretty confident he'll go for double that to a Man Utd or someone of that ilk when they get desperate.

Got a few bits wrong with us but have us as 3rd in spite of any possible deductions.

You don't play Mads under the pretense he's still on the road to recovery and behind everyone else in preseason (which isn't as much of an issue for a keeper, but still) and see where you're at when the window closes. If he's gone, nothing doing, if he's still here, play whoever merits it.

James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)
JimJams replied to SouthStandUpperTier's topic in Transfer Talk
Yeah. I watched him have to run the entire line by himself most games because we rarely played 2 wingers, leaving him out of position to defend properly. If he had to do what Danny Simpson did rather than be expected to be Hakimi or prime Danny Alves I think he might fare a bit better. -
Lennon Miller left out of the Motherwell squad for Rangers game today. Linked with Torino, Udinese and Bologna. Fxxk me if that's the case, get on it!

Just signed for Juventus Lloyd Kelly?

Terrible chat-up line. -
Holding out for us obviously.
-
Same way they always do.

Would have been a sensible move before they bought Diaz. Think that kills that idea off.

Would do miles better for Everton where he'll be tasked with defending and occasionally helping out the attack under a manager who won't try to complicate things rather be the all action do everything fullback that Cooper and Ruud obviously wanted him to be. And £6mill is peanuts for a prem side, they'd be happy enough if he just played cover at that price. -

You can pick up shit from South America too. I'm not sure it's that easy to just go and pick up quality players for £5mill whenever the need arises.
-
They didn't qualify.
-
Signing nobody would have been better than signing Skipp. Skipp happens.
-
He's not signed yet, it's believed he's holding out for Premier League offers. But he would be a coup for another Championship side purely because you'd think his next move would be Premier League.
-
Yeah, I thought he looked crap in the playoffs, but he's a young striker, and they all go through patches of bad form, maybe his came at the wrong time of the season. Essentially for £5mill I think it's a decent punt. Even if he flops he should retain most if not that full value. It's when the price creeps up if we are genuinely interested that it looks less interesting. There's a bit of future planning too to remember. Daka and Ayew are both in their last year now, so regardless of where we finish the season we could very likely go into the subsequent one completely devoid of strike options (jokes on how that's our current situation!). Worst case scenario at this price is he flops and we've wasted £5mill plus wages. I think that's very unrealistic to be honest. If we're promoted, and we don't want him, we'll recoup the lot, easily. If we don't get promoted we'd likely keep him the second year as our only strike option and give him another go. If he then flops the book value is £3mill assuming a 5 year contract, and loads of sides would take a chance on that. And there's no limit to the upside. So it makes a lot of sense.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
JimJams replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
Why? If he's going I don't give a fxxk where it is as long we get a decent fee. And if it's Leeds we might be able to buy him back in a year . -
What? Why is only one club showing interest in him a sign of us being passive? We can't make other clubs bid.
-
I suppose I'm terms of value if we get promoted despite him we can probably still recoup the money selling him or even loaning him out. If we got promoted with him proving himself then his value goes up and we have one less thing to think about next summer. If we don't get promoted and he stinks the place out the hit isn't so bad and again there's still going to be opportunity to sell or loan equal to his book value anyway.
