At the end of the day there's a bit of a tinpot element to celebrating 4th or 5th. However, at the start of the season every club will have set out their goals and for Chelsea, realistically, it was CL qualification and a trophy. And they're on course to achieve that. Achieving your goals is worthy of celebration.

I think his distribution will be better than he's credited for as well tbh. This season he's being given passes by a deep backline under pressure. It's not the same thing as playing with a high line and stepping up to start moves. We saw how good Mads was with his passing last season, but there was far less evidence of it in this when he's largely just got to punt it away rather than pick someone out.

Think we were 7th favourites (does 7th and favourites go together?) with bet365, but that's going to be largely because of the possible points deduction as much as the manager position. Probably a good time to get a bet on with the intention of laying it off if you think we won't get hammered on arrival with a big points deficit to make up.

Bulk him up and you could make him an 8. There's plenty of more diminutive players that play centrally than him but they tend to be technically on a different level to KM. So an 8 with an engine is probably the best outcome for him. Suspect if he stays with us he'll basically end up (well stay as) a utility player. Not good enough in any one position, but capable of filling in where needed. And that's ok for now.

Will Still will be an interesting one. I've seen a few videos of him on the training pitch with his players, and you can see he communicates well with them and gets his ideas across well. But then I saw that thing he did on sky where he showed the prep he did with his players before a game and it looked like a kid doing a powerpoint. I thought it was bollocks to be honest. With slides not particularly showing anything, with a few arrows and coloured boxes and very much looking like a video game screen. Saying that, he knows his audience, so that's probably the best way to communicate to them.
