Superb! The Buttler didn’t do it this time!
-
Trevaskis and Mike should have been above Ellison and Green.
-
He shouldn’t berate any of his players publicly!

Age is just a number. You only have to watch him throwing himself around behind the stumps to realise that he has a lot of cricket left in him. He’s also up with the top run scorers for us in both competitions this year so why wouldn’t you offer him a new contract? We would miss him big time, but I wouldn’t blame him for moving back to Worcestershire. He never wanted to leave in the first place.

Quote from BBC website: The last time Leicestershire won a County Championship match in Division One, Phil DeFreitas was playing for The Foxes. Remember, he won the 1986/87 Ashes. It's been 8,320 days since they won a four day game in English cricket's top tier. They had never beaten Yorkshire at this ground by an innings, and it's only the second time they had beaten The Tykes since 1996. They played wonderfully, particularly since they lost the toss. They bowled with real vigour, getting the most out of the pitch, bowling consistent lines and lengths. They batted as well as I have seen them bat this season, being tactically astute - going hard at the bad balls, but otherwise playing calmly and diligently. Rehan Ahmed is a superstar, Nick Kelly looks like a very good overseas batter. With a win, they have kept themselves alive in their fight for survival. Two vital matches against Glamorgan at home, and Yorkshire in Scarborough, are to follow in two months' time. But the monkey is off Alfonso Thomas' back, they have their win, and in some style too. Yorkshire were surprisingly abject, and their inconsistency will be a huge worry. Put simply, if they wanted to compete for the title, they would have won this game. The fact they got hammered tells it's own story.

Who was it said this??!

A fantastic couple of days so far. Loving it!
-
They have no business being in the commentary box if they don’t know something so basic. Listeners rely on them for their knowledge of the game. It’s disgraceful.

A most promising performance. Perhaps there is hope after all. Today will be crucial. First target is to reach 250 and start accumulating some bonus points. One step at a time after that.
-
He will be badly missed but he can hold his head up high, having played a big part in seeing the Club through some dark times to emerge in a better place. Thank you Lewis!
-
Yes. Keeps repeating himself while failing to commentate on the game!
-
He’s Mr Know it All.
-
As I was saying!
-
Cox is surely one of our most valuable and reliable players. Superb behind the stumps and one of the top scorers in the club in both red and white ball. I can’t believe they wouldn’t offer him a deal for a couple of years.

No! It was all down to me!! My philosophy of sitting on the sofa in front of the live stream and not moving a muscle for three hours was definitely what did the trick!
-
An incredible finish.
-
I don’t care! A win is a win. It’s progress. Concerned about Sol though. Hope he is okay.

Rehan playing for England Lions today.

Batsman Turner in Overdrive!

Injured?

Leicestershire second eleven returned to the scene of Sunday’s crime against our first team at Chester le Street with a win over Durham to restore some pride for the County. Five wickets for spinner Rayner saw the hosts dismissed for 102 leading to victory by 30 runs. The team was captained by Sam Wood.

It already is. What a difference from last season!
-
Raine was superb. Just wish he wouldn’t pour on our parade!
-
And these guys commentating on the Durham game are the perfect example of how bad it could get!! And the stream has crashed six times already!
-
Good point. Perhaps we should be grateful for what we have!
