Asmita Ale is likely to return on a permanent basis in addition to Mace.

I'd expect something to be announced in the next few days now. Think its going to be a long season, very little quality in the side and the Australia pre season is daft.

Confirmed, first professional contract at Blues.

No reason for discounts to u22, u18 and u16? That's the next generation of fans right there. You price them out and you'll be left with nothing, the repercussions of this increase will be felt for years to come.

I expect Green will end up back in London, think she's from Hertfordshire way, Thibaud was a bombscare defender in the 2nd half of the season, wayward passing and off the pace. Need another experienced CB and someone like Neve Herron from Birmingham to come in and learn from Howard. Thibaud is a back up at best. Howard carried the team for the last 6 matches. O'Brien has not been announced by the club but she is staying. We need 6 or 7 in otherwise its going to be a relegation battle.

And that comes back to having a manager sitting down with these players and talking about futures. Loans, playing expectations..

I posted on twitter asking what's going on when we've got young players leaving contracts on the table. It's been 'liked' by one of the women's academy coaches. How do you convince players to stay with no manager!

£72 to watch Faes and Vestergaard managed by Steve Cooper.

Ava Baker first out of the door. Confirms her exit on Instagram.

And Liverpool have developed their stadium too. Some of our seats are starting to look like Cov Sky Blue.

I think Jennifer pretty much said the same as she stepped away from it, something along the lines of in the final stages of appointment. The way the clubs being run, we'll probably reappoint Willie Kirk 😂😂

Crap beer and food. Clappers. Over zealous stewards. 'Matchday experience' £25 for a physical season ticket Now it's £72 to watch a game. They've just completely screwed their next generation of supporters, there won't be any need to build that extension.

Was given a new contract despite having the injury I heard.

Wasn't overly impressed with Ale, quite weak in the tackle, backup at best.

Hope he makes a full recovery. Still remember him walking around Filbert Street at the end of his loan spell with the scarves thrown from fans. One of the best loan players we've had.

Bakker, Phillips (ex Brighton) and Howard (player/manager) all been mentioned in articles I've seen. Bakker seems the wrong choice given how fragile the confidence in the squad is, reported to lack empathy etc. Howard would be too soon, still playing international football and just starting A licence. Phillips got a few results, notably a 1-0 win at Man City but I don't know much else about her. I also believe Remi Allen has applied.

De Zerbi? Pretty sure Maresca would recommend him having played in Italy with him. Maybe Potter?

Haven't been for about 3 years to Leicester Rd. Thanks for the info.

Yes, Emirates crowds have been 35 to 60k.

Crowds are anything between 2 and 4k. Attendances dip when played at Burton. Could quite easily play at Hinckley, Leicester Road stadium if its up to standard. Villa got less than 9k at Villa Park v Man City, Everton rarely above 1500 and Man City get 3 to 6k.

Disappointing end to what started off so well. I did 22/30 games overall and saw a side desperately lacking a good 9 and 10, a leader and the loss of O'Brien was also a big blow with 2 lengthy injury spells. We've shown Kiernan onto her right foot for goals 3 and 4 today, subs were too late again, and zero creativity. Positives were the FA Cup run, some good performances away from home and there is potential with Draper, Pelgander and Kiera Bell. It's the right time for Whelan to retire, a great captain but has made no impact this season. Going to be a busy summer ahead, new manager, captain and desperately need to add some quality.

Jennifer has done a decent job under the circumstances, just hadn't got that experience to turn some of those narrow defeats into draws or wins, a little late with subs and don't think she really knew her best 11. Would not be surprised if Remi Allen applied, short term contract ended at London City.

Yes I think the defence could improve, 2 centre backs would be welcome along with the 9 and 10. I think there will be interest in Rantala in the summer too.

She's done at Leicester, won't see her in a Leicester shirt again.

No wasn't suggesting Shannon as a 9 bud, just said we need her fit, certainly her best position is that left wing, but feel we need a goalscoring 9, maybe play momiki as the 10, think Whelans time is up. Draper injured on England duty, won't be back until next season, do agree, Vardyesque movement, and you see the goal she gets v Bristol has great movement and awareness. You may recall Mark Draper playing for Leicester on the 90s, Denny is his daughter.
