The concerning thing is the lack of money we can spend. this season in the Championship means we can ‘only’ lose £63m next season rather than £105m like other PL clubs. we aren’t going to have much to spend when we go up yet it will be badly needed.
-
Sounds great and well worth it. Guess the prices creep up the higher you go. £10 at most clubs at step 4 (and harborough often wave my 7 year old through)) It was a very enjoyable 4-0 win, could have easily been 8. Shepshed got nowhere near Harboroigh to be honest.
-
It’s far less tribal and the make up of fans represent many clubs which isn’t a bad thing. You don’t quite get the same buzz but it doesn’t take long to get into it. Pricing is excellent and the games are enjoyable. And the little things like parking outside and being able to easily get to the facilities are great too. Non league attendance are on the up but I’m still surprised more don’t go. Anyone unsure just get to your local side and you will enjoy it. Harborough v Shepshed for me later.

A strange bunch of fans. They are are a big town with a well established club and have played at a higher level than they are currently at but act like the non league version of Leeds as they get a couple hundred more in than others in the league.
-
Big win for Harborough that, think it was Loughborough’s first home league defeat of the season.
-
They certainly got Newcastle at the right time but just had Bournemouth and Everton who are bang in form.
-
Behave. Our squad playing like we do will get hammered. we need some seriously good additions to compete and bonkers/arrogant to think otherwise
-
Jones has form v Forest, he ****ed up when they were at old Trafford earlier in the campaign. I think people need to take off their anti Forest hats and realise the standard of officiating is awful and that it will be happening to us in big games soon enough. Will we just sit there like nodding dogs as it happen?
-
Well yeah they obviously do. But you seem to be suggesting a team doesn’t have cause for complaint due to a previous decision going for them. I’d prefer it if we could just have some competent officials.
-
Nice to hear, he looks like he could play higher and only 19.
-
Think all the clubs you mention are on for best ever season. Harborough certainly are. A shame only 126 at Loughborough yesterday
-
Did Luca Miller play? I liked him whilst on loan at Harborough but perhaps a bit lightweight.
-
Bit daft given they potentially missed out on automatic after poor decisions away at Bournemouth when they had a decent goal chalked off. You would think VAR would be perfect for that terrible decision yesterday, just another example of why it’s unfit for purpose in its current state.

It’s just childish to say those who don’t think Earps was a worthy winner ‘don’t like women’. I’d be saying the same if Pickford won it after losing a World Cup final. Many worthy female winners including Radcliffe, Holmes, Radacanu and even Beth Mead after a final winning goal. But Mary Earps? Do me a favour.
-
Broad had a good ashes series and brought down the curtain to his superb career with a wicket on his final ball bowled and a 6 on his final ball batting. far more deserving than a World Cup losing goalkeeper. but then it’s a public vote so this kind of thing is going to happen

Why don’t Nuneaton ground-share at Hinckley LRFC?
-
Good call that, he got 4 in the first half as they won 6-1 last night. He was superb.
-
Many of their fans wanted Mitch Austin from Harborough. He was an assistant there at one point. Thankfully Mitch as agreed a new contract to stay at Harborough for another 3 years.
-
They tend to draw in 200-250 for your average league games. They have over 1000 kids playing for their junior teams, that’s a lot of money in subs. A fair amount of sponsors, decent cup run and who knows maybe someone dips in their own pocket. Chelmsford City today in the FA Trophy, should be good
-
Getting Joel Carta back is decent too, very good player who the manager really believes in.
-
No need to panic, we were never going to keep winning. There have been a few games where we were lucky to pick up wins so this was going to happen. we will be alright there’s enough to get out this league and then I’ll worry about the PL as we will need investment and 8 decent signings to stand a chance of staying up.
-
I think all our local sides deserve better attendances. It’s only Coalville who really pull them in.
-
He only played a handful of games, I heard it was mutual as he’s doing his coaching badges with Leicester (u18s I think). He never really got going but you could tell he had quality. Harborough have won the last six league games without conceding.
-
They aren’t really anywhere near FFP having sold Johnson for £50m, as his home grown it all goes in the accounts rather then spread out over a contract. I think our dislike of Forest clouds judgement, they did well yesterday against a decent villa side. They’ve made good signings, we are way behind.
