Ric Flair Live & Direct on BSLB Podcast
niyaminski replied to Ric Flair's topic in Leicester City Forum
Bet Ric’s got some more mates that can challenge for this 😂 -
For those that would like to see an improvement in the atmosphere in and around the ground. Hypothetically say you had a meeting with the club and they would do whatever you wanted them to do, what would that be? Here are a few ideas that have been floating around; - safe standing (down where? the whole of the kop?) - switching the kop to the North stand - expanding the section within sk1 - creating another section in sk2/anywhere along the kop - move the family stand to the West stand - having no music blurting out the second the final whistle goes - any other ideas?? Just to get an idea of what people would like to happen. Not that I, or anyone on here could do anything.
-
Put the away fans behind the goal or move the Kop. One of the two.
-
Also very quite stands. Sat in C1 once and all I could hear was the away fans. Pissed me right off 😂
-
For me personally, if I don’t get a ticket in the section, I don’t go, unless I get offered one of my mates STs who doesn’t go. And I know there a quite a few who feel the same. There’s clear demand and lots of options as to how to expand it. Safe standing would also be an option in the kop. Imo if they put that in the kop, the who stand would be standing. But I don’t know how to convince the club. Start a petition?
-
Can I just say; SK1/section always sold out first. Why not just ask the club to expand it? Or make another in SK2 so at least that half of the kop has a large number of fans that are singing. Possibly those in the middle of the SK1 section and SK2 section would also stand up and kind of unofficially join them together.

No. Was quite frustrated after the game and still calming down mate. My point is, if they play like that, they could easily be up close to us come the end of the season. And we've been lucky in terms of winning games when we havn't been playing well, unlike Leeds. But, yes, Leeds were (by far) the better team today.
-
This. 1st or 2nd we'll be watching our boys in the top flight next year, and that's all that matters.
-
Leeds will win the championship. Were far the better team, McAteer should've replaced Casadei (****ing waste of time he is) at half time. Saying that, still an 11 point gap and we play them again after the window, where hopefully we've strengthened. Up the citehhhhh. Ps. 3-0 W next week vs Middlesborough

Never heard ‘singing loud’, ‘Paris to Berlin’ or ‘teenage kicks’ ever sung down the section. shame because they don’t sound that bad.
-
Didn’t see Will during todays training video? Been training with the 23s this week?
-
Yessir You're in love with a phsyco, Kasabian

I was thinking something like Man City's for Bernardo Silva... The one that goes Ber-nar-dooo (ri-car-dooo)
-
Also, anyone know where he sat when he had his season ticket?
-
When he was 16. I think if you play professional football at 16, even for only 30 mins, you're not bad. I have every confidence he'll be another Andy King like servant to the club, but with Madders' flare.
-
Let me guess... they keep slipping out his hands. edit; just realised what you meant with shots
-
name any names? Can imagine Wardy to be a big drinker
-
if he plays on the wing (Ik he’s a CAM but as many have said he may play on the wing under enzo, especially to start) He plays on the left He plays on the right that boy will alves makes madders look shite
-
No clue mate. If UFS or the club were to make more, what you recon would be on em? Ones I’d like to see would be; - blue and white, pure delight - semper eadem - when you’re smiling - Leicester fosse
-
Agree with the SK1 part if you enjoy giving vocal support. But the Geordies are ****ing good supporters. Remember when they came to our place, battered them 4-0 and still they were louder than us, even celebrating our goals louder than we did. How times have changed 😂
-
I honestly don’t think we need to swap the Kop and the family stand. But we do need to give the Kop more identity and that could be quite simple: - more banners like the ‘Leicester City’ one at the top for SK1 - scarves up for WYS Simple things that anyone can join in with. Doesn’t require anyone to sing or do something they don’t want to, even though that would be even better. Safe standing would be great but would need help from the club, which will never happen. Liverpool have their world famous Kop, away fans are on the opposite side. Why does it take bantering away fans to make a loud Kop?
-
Happened to me for the spurs game last season. Tbf it does get quite annoying. You pay to watch the game, not to have a flag in your face. As a match ticket fan, I started buying tickets further up in the section. Although I do like UFS waving the flag when we’re playing well and/or at FT and pre-match
-
No offence intended. But I think ew can all agree that the stadium atmosphere needs to be better, especially now we are back to winning ways.
-
100% agree. Need there to be some developments on this. Do we know if @Union FS are pushing for it? Knowing our club, nothing will happen for a while though. They can't even let us celebrate at full time by turning a nob down on the music control board.
