LCFC Fans Consultative Committee Meeting 06/09/23 Minutes

the kop has been crap ever since we moved there, i really don't get why people keep holding on to thinking it will ever get back to like filbert street in the bottom corner next to the away fans. it's the kop in name only and always has been. the fact it's so far from the away fans will always be the problem -

I just find it baffling and amazing that on here there is practically no acceptance that not everyone wants to do the same thing. Far too many people on here, and in reality are a really small proportion of the match going fans simply think what they want is the only way people should watch football. I don't mind the tifo's as I don't often sit anywhere where it would be above my head but I can understand that some people may have had the same seat since we moved grounds and don't want them blocking their view. those people are neither right nor wrong, nor are the people who want them displayed. I just wish people would accept other people want to do things differently, and not get "annoyed" that we all don't do the same. -

interesting, that seeing the players walk out isn't seen as important but in another thread people are having meltdowns about people not staying to watch them walk back down that tunnel... -
the bus I've used is a good laugh, like minded people, allowed to drink on it, decent music playing etc
-
Good luck, as it looks like someone needlessly moved the thread back to where your post got so little views in the first place
-
It's London baaaaabbbbyyy, world at your feet, drink wherever you fancy
-
excellent post squire, guaranteed it will go over some heads and ignored by the others who will think you ain't properly supporting the lads if you ain't prepared to add another hour to a 4 hour journey, whilst they are stood in a pub in town 20 minutes after full time
-
although I didn't see this one I think you'd be hard pressed to see a worse response than the stewards at Burton away earlier on in the season
-
We used to use the official coaches when we were at school 25/26 years ago and they were alright back then, sat at the back drinking all the way and smoking having a sing song. how they've changed now though, I'd prefer to walk than go on them In regards your question though, the one ran by the Coalville lads I believe is full and Zoonie isn't doing one for this game, or at least he wasn't. My mate was telling me at Rotherham he'd got there on a fairly decent coach from the counting house but afraid I have no details on that. Might be worth doing a post in the main forum to see if anyone has any ideas, and see's the post
-
I just fail to see what role they fill or what purpose they have, just seem to be annoying busy bodies to me
-
why do we even have them?
-
honestly think it's being over exaggerated, like I said, Preston was the only one where I thought wow. but you could also argue the last 2 games it was job done and game put to bed, just like when we're getting spanked. but as said it doesn't bother me and i wait anyway
-
that's not as ludicrous as it first seems
-
Only home game I've missed this season is Bristol, apart from the Preston game I've not seen anything out of the ordinary that hasn't been happening since i started going in the late 80's. not sure why people are so obsessed with it either tbh, if we all did the same thing life would be incredibly boring and btw, this is from someone who was the only person left on 3 rows of seats in L1 after we went 3 nil down against Liverpool last season and stayed until the death so I'm certainly not defending those that go early
-
It's only been 'this bad' since the roadworks on Aylestone Road, before it was as normal as it's ever been. also little point for many fans staying for a celebratory sing song after the full time whistle with the music blaring out
-
it really hasn't, this has been happening since i can remember, going back to the filbert street days
-
honestly think its due to the city and surrounding areas having truly crap roads. take the side roads round Narborough Road etc for example, get out 10 mins before full time and can be back at the Foxhunter roundabout in 10-15mins, get stuck with everyone else it can take another hour. Same with Aylestone Road. Doesn't effect me by the way as I wait until the players have walked off to leave then go boozing round town
-
no it doesn't at all
-
i noticed in between songs against Preston the continuous drumming actually encouraged people to sit there using them stupid clappers clapping along to the beat
-
yeah heard about that, hope he gets through it all all the best L if you read this
-
Does LJ still go up there and get things going?
-
don't mind any checks to be honest. i was more worried at a concert in Nottingham friday night when no one was getting searched. they could speed it up though without a doubt
-
what did they do in town please? heard they had took over the Globe and O'Neils early doors but were alright
