  1. It feels like the right thing for both him and the club at this point but it is still gutting and leaves me with a bit of an empty feeling. Feel lucky to have watched him terrorise defenders up and down the country! Legend in the truest sense of the word.
  2. Will be up to the next manager (hopefully) what happens to him but I think he will be a decent option in the long Championship season and I think the right system will help him
  3. Their first goal comes from Ndidi being weak in the tackle and Newcastle getting through the midfield with no resistance. He closes the gap to Barnes as you would expect but it's 2 on 1 so I don't know what you expect him to do. If you look at Daka's starting position and Livramento's starting position you could say Daka wasn't busting a gut to get back and help but I'm not sure it would make much of a difference as Livramento was already in full stride. I don't think VK has done much wrong either at the back post as it's just a great ball across in the end. We're in that position because Ndidi and Soumare are both drawn towards the ball and are occupying the same space, the Newcastle player takes a dreadful touch so you'd expect Ndidi to make the tackle but he doesn't fully commit and the Newcastle player does commit and comes out with the ball and one simple pass to Joelinton who is in the acres of space between the defence and midfield completely takes our midfield out the game. I think it comes down to having no structure or positional discipline. Midfielders drawn to the ball leaving huge gaps. Is the defence supposed to be playing a high line or playing deep there? Who knows.
  4. Why Ruud persists with this ridiculous formation and lineup is so beyond me I feel like I'm losing my mind. VK and Thomas?!?!? Thomas CB?!?!?! Daka AND Vardy?!?!?! Lord have mercy
  5. Good thing we've got two left backs on to really shut down that side of the pitch
  6. Please, score a goal
  7. Get JJ on the left and Woyo on the right and take off one of either Vardy or Daka and bring Mavididi or Ayew to play behind the striker
  8. RVN must be the least dynamic manager to ever manage a game in this league. Not a clue. We've got endless weaknesses on the pitch but he does absolutely nothing whatsoever to try and mitigate them. It honestly looks like he just sends them out and hopes they'll figure it out themselves when they're out there.
  9. If I disagreed with how FC City of Leicester were being run could I start FC Leicester City of City of Leicester FC? Come on your FCLCCLFC!!!
  10. Last season he started 26 games and came on as a sub in another 6, making 32 total league appearances for Bologna who finished 5th with the 3rd best defense in the league and qualified for the Champion's League. It's baffling seeing how lost he looks on a football pitch at the moment.
  11. It's hard to see what Daka was meant to be doing in whatever role he was being asked to play
  12. No midfiel Very rarely is a goal ever just one person's fault and in my opinion there's a real issue on here every time we concede with people desperate to pin it on one individual. VK played a lazy ball, midfield was non-existent, Faes turned his back, Mads could have done better.
  13. My thoughts on VK are that while I'm not knocking his effort or work rate, it seems a bit naive to just run yourself into the ground every game at this level. Lots of running does not a good player make. Players at this level should be more thoughtful about picking their moments to do the running, and as we're obviously not playing a high intensity pressing system his running is all on his own so won't accomplish much. Again, not blaming him, I think it's obviously lack of direction from the manager. You can't just have 11 players on a pitch doing their own thing. If the manager wants people pressing and breaking away at pace, that needs to happen as a team and it obviously isn't Ruud's plan. If he has an experienced leader playing next to him to shout instructions at him that would help so much, but at the moment he's just left to his own judgement and he's not got the experience at this level to do that. He's still young and there's lots of room for improvement and I think he has attributes to be a decent full back, but I think he needs a rest and Thomas is good enough to rotate in more often. Would benefit both, and the team.
