  1. So Cooper left with us just outside the relegation zone. We currently have half the points of the side in fourth bottom. It was absolutely the correct decision to bin him. With our spineless ownership and 'special' fanbase I think we are unmanageable.
  2. I can see another spell in league 1 coming if we either stick or appoint another dud.
  3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0bq3g5x Well worth a listen
  4. So the man who had this disgusting mess out of the relegation zone was a moron?
  5. We couldn't have stayed up playing the way we did last year. The gap is too big. You need to scrap, get established and then crack on. This squad was never good enough to go toe to toe with anyone established in this league. We had a manager who has kept rubbish up before but it just was good enough for a lot of us. We sleep walked to relegation last time and shot ourselves in the foot this.
  6. Dr Secret Squirrel, I can assure you that this is my only account. If a mod can be arsed they can confirm the IP addresses are completely different but if they can't then neither can I. Keeping a newly promoted side in this league is the hardest job in world football. The difference between prem and championship is huge and getting bigger. To have any chance the whole club needs to be together and in the same direction. I think the job the previous manager had here was easier on the pitch than it was there. Came up as champions. Not the. greatest squad in this league but there was hope. Compare with promoted via play offs, most of the squad buggered off back to parent clubs and had a random bunch thrown together over 5 or so weeks. It seems to me that a lot of our fanbase hate them more than they love us. Much as it makes you cross, it was a disastrous move, he clearly had the potential to see us safe ( but may well have failed) but, given an ounce of support, it would undoubtedly have been better.
  7. My main account? And was he really that shit or were some on here's beliefs that he was holding back a top ten squad a touch unrealistic? 17th should always be the aim for a newly promoted side.
  8. Can you show your working out on that one please?
  9. I suspect everyone who's contract is not up wants to be here next season. We pay absolutely massive wages. This is a huge part of the problem.
  10. Maybe if we supported a manager with keeping a dogsh1t squad in this league on his CV we would be too. We will never know.
  11. We'll probably get Rooney in to get us out of the Championship. I'll leave the tap in for someone else.
  12. Wouldn't surprise me. I can't see many lower end prem jobs coming up. It's fast becoming a stable 17 team league with 3 annual visitors. Why take the risk? Man U and Spurs will probably change and you would think Iriola will get tempted elsewhere (maybe Spurs) but I can't see anyone else changing in the near future.
  13. I suspect Cooper will get a Championship side with promotion aspirations in the Summer. As for the current manager, there will be another nutcase of a chairman who will hire him on the basis of a great playing career.
  14. Can't see us getting rid of anyone unless their contract is up. Absolute shite on massive wages. We're a mini Man U.
  15. You'll never see a Geordie lift a cup. (Although you will, from time to time, see one punch a horse.)
