Certainly will be in the managers thoughts if he can maintain performances like yesterday.

He was really good. Had a good understanding with his left back and showed some good skills with a desire to work back too.

I went to the game and the under 21s played how Marti talks about his team playing. They look comfortable on the ball and get it forward quickly. They pressed really well and recovered the ball in the few occasions they lost it. Combinations down each wing were good, particularly the left side. Aluko and Cover were really excellent and every player gave everything they had.

Going to see the under 21s tomorrow afternoon. See if any of them look ready for the step up.

I used to work for National Grid in that building. It was a refurb centre which has been moved to Enderby now. When the club bought it we had to move out to a deadline as the club wanted to flatten it for their expansion plans. We moved out in January 22 and there is is still!

Can't believe this is how the manager wants us to play. Players are either uninterested or not good enough. No leader for the young lads to look up to. Being outplayed by another bang average team!
