Spring are a fine band...we've had the pleasure of playing with them a couple of times now in Leicester. Hopefully see you playing again soon. My friend who puts on a lot of gigs locally saw you at The Big Difference the other day for the first time...he was mightily impressed.

That's a great deal....I have an old ProCo Rat pedal....they do sound good...the filter really helps get the sound you want.

All that stuff is pretty amazing isn't it? I use quite a lot of synth apps and effects on my ipad when recording. Having things like the Eventide efx pedals for a few pounds, the Moog synths and pedals are brilliant. But yes...having all that at your fingertips can lead to choice paralysis!.

My old 1970's Carlsbro solid state amp seems like it's on its last legs, making horrendous noises! Anyone had any experience with those Boss Katana amps? I've seen a few reviews on them and the 100 /212 looks like it'd be good for home use & gigging. I've always liked the look of those Roland JC-40s too.

I play in Sonar//Radar...an instrumental / post-rock band. Hopefully playing a few gigs in town again soon.

Cheers. No I haven't yet. I will do so though. I'll get in touch with Danny & Nat based on everyone's advice. I agree..a trip out to the countryside is preferable to trying to park in Clarendon Park. I'll let you know how I get on.

Anyone had any experience with the Zoia Empress pedal? A friend has recently lent me his to play around with....looks like the most complicated thing ever. Sounds brilliant from what I've heard of it so far though.....lots of wierd and wonderful effects patches can be downloaded to it.

Craven Faults - Sidings album.....for fans of stuff like Tangerine Dream & early electonic music. Great images of Yorkshire's landscape too.

Hi...just started playing guitar again after years away concentrating my attention on synths. Got my early 90's Japanese Jazzmaster out but I think it needs some attention....probably just re-setting up. Is the https://leicestershire-luthier.co.uk/ still the best place locally to get this work done or anyone know anybody closer to the city? I used to use Intersound on Narb road but I think that's moved now.

The Utopia Strong at Firebug ...Steve Davis's (from snooker) psych band...should be a good one. Blood Bruise (Teeth of the Sea) support.
