  1. Did you ignore the bit where I said ignoring wages?

Boyd = 3, juke = 2, pretty sure they paid upwards of a mill for both the other two. That's about 7. Didn't we pay that for ulloa? Sounds roughly the same to me.

What point are you trying to make and why do you think it's a good one?

  2. Pretty sure the rough maths (ignoring wages) would show they spent similar on Boyd, juke, sordell and keane as we did on cambiasso, albrighton, huth and ulloa. hmm.

Erm.... pretty sure Ulloa's fee outweighs all four of those players alone, before you add Huth's loan fee and Cambiasso's £40k a week.

  3. What does this have to do with what other fans are saying about us?

Please can we return to the topic of the thread. .??

I don't care to read all this speculative cr*p and expact to see factual stuff in this thread.

Speculative posts are of far more interest and relevance than this sort of bollocks, if you don't appreciate a bit of speculation and discussion about LCFC why the frig are you on such a forum? Jog the **** on.

  4. I'm not certain I don't agree with the idea, as long as it's executed in the correct way.

By that I mean, that it's done in a timely manner after the season ends, Pearson is allowed to sit down and have his say on the matter before it happens, an appropriate manager is identified and secured swiftly but isn't sat in the stands for Pearson's last game.

  5. Leave or get sacked? Would be a bit weird to sack him now imo...

Yes I agree and this isn't something I strongly feel will happen, but I don't find the idea of Pearson and the Thais sitting down at the end of the season and "mutually" agreeing to take the club in another direction completely out of the realms of possibility.

Gotta say though, Leicester like Hull before them last season are giving weight to the idea that it's better as a promoted side to add a sprinkling of quality but keep the same core of players that got you promoted - players who might be less able technically but are familiar with each other tactically and with the team'a system - than it is to do a QPR or Cardiff and splurge loads of money on individually better (normally) players who have never played together before and are strangers to the system.

Think it's been proven beyond all doubt.

  7. They will inevitably get better. For the time being I like watching them, I like to see a plucky underdog doing well, but the day will come where they're better than us (probably already are in terms of international team, they've gone further than us for two WCs in a row) and I'll hate them for it.

  8. Speaking of online check in now by the way, it's ****ing excellent these days. The last 4 or 5 times I've been abroad now, I've absolutely flown through the airport. This last time I went with Easyjet, downloaded their app, you get the boarding passes on the app, can scan them direct off your phone. Same pass each time, no pissing about at all. Wonderful. Been years since I had any trouble getting through an airport.
