Thing is, what we see on the pitch isnāt as big an issue as off the pitch. Thatās how bad things are
-
Cheers for that. Short term stability would be great, though now we can officially count ourselves as one of the 72 teams one day dreaming of making it back to the PL again, we do need longer term ambition Top and King Power offer neither
-
Was never off Big Al
-
This is why I donāt understand the laughter on here when Iāve said in the past that Iād rather have Ashley Made me think I was missing something
-
Laid more of a glove on the likes of Villa and Chelsea in 07 than we do on most of the teams in our league this season
-
Thing is, I genuinely believe the existence of our club is under threat under Top, and I KNOW itās under threat if things continue on the same trajectory I never had that feeling regarding Newcastle under Ashley (from the outside looking in at least) Itās for that reason (call me naive) Iād regard Ashley as an upgrade on Top and KP.
-
Thanks! Thereās a lot of noise on social media from anyone opposing a boycott or who are still backing King Power saying that boycotts simply donāt work. Itād be nice for them to read this
-
I think this may be the first line up Iāve seen in literally years which doesnāt consist of a player I actively hate
-
Neither are the majority of our fan base
-
At least your reply is completely balanced Have a look on their forum though. Iād say a small majority hated his football
-
What, like āEnzoās football was good to watchā?
-
There was that one standout game I seem to remember- we thrashed Southampton towards the back end of the season. But it seemed to me that day that the players took matters into their own hands and played with instinct rather than under Marescaās direction
-
Correct But it ISNāT the best way to be successful. Football has already moved on from the darkest depths of possession football and is thankfully improving/changing again. Maresca is genuinely the latest possession football fossil and given that heās too stubborn to change, heāll get found out sooner rather than later
-
Very true At this rate there wonāt be a club to attend a game at.
-
Football to make your eyes bleed. No thank you

Yeah. It probably sounds like Iām changing my tune here, but could probably find a post to back myself if I searched hard enough- I also remember saying āif youāre a fan older than 25 it shouldnāt be celebratedā for the reasons you say which I agree with
-
Yeah, for clarity though I was meaning more about the fans shouldnāt have been celebrating when I said āweā Like I said so many times before- we had blood on our hands as a fan base for doing FA about Rodgers until it was far too late. Even by the time he left, it was probably only 60/40 in favour of him leaving.
-
Iāve genuinely never known our fan base to be so divided. Itās far deeper than the Rodgers era

Yep, my opinion of the ECL Semi was precisely the same too, and was definitely not a feather in Rodgersā or our clubs cap given the fact we had to fail in order to make that tournament Itād be like the KPFC fans celebrating a FA Trophy Semi Final appearance. Letās not go there -

Was just a hollow victory really wasnāt it? I have let go š But unfortunately the owners decisions and our collective lack of trying to do anything about Rodgers and after him lands us in a situation weāre still paying a price for. Not that itāll ever happen now, but the time when you could truly look back and say the last 5 years is firmly in the past is when weāre back in the PL and battling in the top half again -

@pmcla26 I see you liked this comment. The anger and rage came from divs like you laughing at our opinions on Rodgers Then deleting your account when he left -
None of this is any surprise Particularly the bit about him tossing around with horses whilst weāre sinking like The Belgrano
