Needs a win and goes with the same formation for 11 weeks that has not worked

Especially for people that are labelled morons on a weekly basis by different posters

Nearly had a quarter of a season 1 win He is slowly changing tact and blaming the players as time runs out.

The sad thing is people expect tonkings now from teams with forward lines that are statistically worse than our own

Relegation, League 1, financial implications

Forest don’t even know what division they will be in, very much doubt they are thinking about additional costs at this stage -
Could’ve been a used car salesman, had loads of excuses when Oxford pumped him. “Not designed for a relegation battle” Nelson has looked a car crash, and looked better at Oxford. Under his stewardship, we have only slightly improved defensively goals per game, yet goals scored per game is down nearly 30 percent. What a change since he said “Embrace the challenge” I’m really excited to be at a club that has certainly got the structure to push on, kick on and start to improve results,” the Bromsgrove-born manager began, speaking in the King Power Centre. “Everyone knows the situation that the team are in and why they are there as well. “It’s important that we tackle that, we take that on board, but I’ve been in the Championship for a long time, I know the division and I’ve been in these positions before. “It’s also giving the players a clear and direct route out of it and what we need to do to improve results and try and start climbing the table and all feel better about where we are. It’s wanting to tackle these 14 games really positively and try and find a few of the missing pieces. “Hopefully we can give everyone, including the fans, a really strong end to the season, with a team you are proud of and want to see on the football pitch, a team that gives everything and wants to dig in and hurt when it needs to and suffer when it needs to. “Also, we know we can play some good football and control games as well. It’s finding the balance of what we need to do and it’s meeting that challenge head on.”

Things to Look Forward to in League One
HankMarvin replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
I’d hope so, but even with reductions they will probably be better paid in league one with us. Cant deal with Jannick on 30k or Choudhury on 25k Whilst it might not seem a lot, if we need to get it down to under £20m in wages that’s 15% of the wage -

Also the interest is subjective, last time we had a good few years at the tail end of the championship and to be doing well in league one was refreshing for many, how many people will be relishing Tuesdays at home to Mansfield and Exeter on the back of recent success and the failings of the owner. -

But we made £72m from player sales, I guess it will depend on if the reduced wage is substantially less than the £104m from 23/24 -

They will probably need to add more players at the end of this financial year to make ends meet, like we saw previously expect we have a lower threshold to meet this time. -
Meh we were 5th favourites for promotion going into the season with a potential points deduction to be factored in. 4/1

Ended up with this sack of shit. Meanwhile Brian Barry Murphy ends up as a championship manager, nominated by the EFL for the Manager of the Season awards and has been linked to the Strasbourg and Celtic jobs.

Spent fck all last time and was only a lower tier champ club going into the relegation. This time we are basically have the infrastructure of a “prem club” and all the shit overpaid crap to go with it -

But the investment you are talking about on the up from league one, was 4/5 years prior to the promotion and what followed and that is actually what our success is based on, following on from the previous post. There was also a strong case of momentum at the end of the day, it’s all hypothetical because he didn’t get promoted. What isn’t hypothetical is the finances, by the time we did get promoted we were spending 116% of our revenue on wages and utilising every ounce of additional help from dodgy sponsorship deals to avoid FFP penalties
-
But they were still throwing money away under Pearson and taking a punt. After investing £100m they were spending £36m on wages with £31m turnover. That continuously allowed them to strengthen even picking up Mahrez mid season even though they were exceeding FFP those figures simply don’t happen under Mandaric. Pearson laid the foundations, but without the finances it wouldn’t have happened.
-
But the success doesn’t happened without the significant investment we spent about 2m in two seasons prior to their involvement
-
We are on course to be relegated and again will have a massive wage for the division we are in, unless he was offered some share based incentive, We won’t be adding significant wages to an already bloated wage bill and by significant I mean the average player wage is 4k in league one. We have a lot of work to do to get down to the 14/15m wage bill Cardiff and Luton have this season
