If Enzo goes I’ll only be mildly disappointed. If it means a) we keep KDH and b) we don’t renew Vestergard (good season in this system but likely back to type under a new manager).
If we got in Potter who would be free, don’t have to sell then it would be a massive advantage.
if we lose KDH, Maresca and Vesty renews though which is most likely that’s bloody annoying

Let's hope so, this age group has been ear marked for some serious talents.
As been mentioned, Jake Evans has already done well at U18s, Jeremy Monga recently promoted to the U18s and Lorenz Hutchinson expected to go far. There may well be others.
Steve Beaglehole working quietly in the background at this level I see!
Thought that Will Lawrence looked really promising too from what I saw tonight.
Some very good Man City players too, including a young lad called Heskey…

He needs to embrace counter attack within the system and work on it or we’re screwed next season (not that we aren’t already)
-
Has he been sacked yet? Top really needs to act quickly here

Random thought. If we’re going to get a points deduction if we’re promoted anyway, would it be better tactically to just go into admin? Does that wipe the slate clean? If so is it worth doing that providing a better opportunity to bounce straight back again?

I fail to see how anyone could describe that second half 'slow and lacking urgency' we were relentless - 10 shots and 7 on target - what more could you ask for?
Whether you like it or not, 'patience' has served us well this season, especially with so many teams parking the bus. As KDH has said, if you aren't patient it becomes a basketball game - and those are the types of games we struggle in.
In context at the game, we pressured for 15 mins after half time. Slow and lethargic for most of the rest of the half. We don’t create enough good chances or pepper the oppo goal. That is concerning when we have so much on the line, how much we dominate etc. Bloody hope we go up but I don’t think Enzo is the man to keep us up with his rigidity tbh

Not sure if this is a stat or not, can’t imagine it’s been done before.
Played Birmingham 3 times this season, won 3, against different managers in each game

Doyle - brilliant, very missed.
Maresca’s subs - 🤦♂️ taking a couple of our two most experienced off. Should have subbed Fatawu for Justin and stuck Ricardo up there imo. Poss Mavididi for Coady. Ok I get we won but again it felt like subs for subs sake not to affect the game
Vesty / Faes - good performance but did have me worried seeing them in the line up, fair play
Wingers - decent
KDH - lacking confidence but grew into it.
N’didi - nothing spectacular but he’s levels above this league
Winksy - solid, loved him shouting and driving the team on.
Daka - not sure

BIG NIGE TILL THE END OF THE SEASON!

Enzo’s style isn’t bad we are too slow in the second phase when we beat the press. Too concerned with possession when we actually have an overload we need to break at pace but we slow down

I’m sorry but Enzo trusts this line up? If they’re out of form then drop them

Good job as that's where we are going to be for a long long time, The EFL will be handing a nice deduction to us, possibly a record do would be League 1 next year.
Deffo league one incoming if we don’t go up

Not good enough from Enzo. He’s not using his squad at all. We have quality on the bench and he has drained them of confidence. KDH has had a shocker. Coady should have been starting 5 games ago. Fine playing at the back but when we beat the press we’re so slow it lets them get back so in all it’s pointless. Random list of rant items

Actually thought atmosphere was a slight improvement in fam stand tonight. The 85th minute thing is comical though. Remind me of the the Covid “don’t panic buy toilet paper” morons for some reason

It 💯 shows what FFP was in fact created for! 10% stopping clubs going into Admin and 90% to preserve the hierarchy of the current “big 6”. Look at Newcastle now, must be so frustrating having all the money in the world but not able to spend it? Look at us, owner has deep pockets but we can’t sign players? Honestly as much as I’d like to laugh at Forest, this is taking a lot of enjoyment out of the sport - if owners want to spunk their cash, let them

If there isnt any fking funds, then Top has nothing to learn..
If he and club décidé nothing in January, but xx% for summer
After confirmed promotion, or KP still have to be prudent & there
is simply no pennies that can be released, due to FTT or other barriers
We have to take it on the chin..
You however have a bundle..to learn.!!
You can stick your ‘bundle’ in your ass when we’re relegated again and in a less prepared situation to deal with bouncing back. Prioritising a stadium expansion is useless if we’re not a steady PL team on the pitch.

I don’t go many aways, only managed 3 last season, combo of small kids & lack of points. But for as much as the home atmosphere rightly gets rinsed, I hardly heard our fans today, what’s going on? Too many pension pushers on their day out?
Fair play these go to more aways than most they should have priority but f**k me that sounded poor today

Sounds like we’ve gone down the cheap / accept our relegation fate route. The only positive is that he might turn us around in the Championship & he cost us nothing.
Our club is honestly in the mud, how no one at the top has taken accountability is the most staggering thing.
Really looking forward to that great atmosphere against Spurs 😒
