We will be dominated by teams in the Prem. If we set up like that we’ll be lambs to the slaughter. All good dominating crap teams in the Champo but we need to work out a game plan off the ball. Shocking 2nd half today. I’ll take it on the chin cos we’ve been brilliant this season, but we need to have one eye on next season now. No funds in Jan now apparently obviously Top not learned lessons of last season.

Forest then Cov for me. Will be a cup final for them though, one of the biggest they’ve had in over 10 years so be nice slotting them back in there place again.

I just find the lack of noise recently really weird. First time I can clearly hear Maresca shouting orders and I sit in Fam stand. Even on leaving the game people weren’t even talking. Strange

Turned the TV off with 10 to go as I could see this.
Only thing I can think is that Enzo and the players are only doing a job and they just don't think like a fan and see this game as a chance to go 9 clear of second and deal a mental blow to Ipswich and anyone chasing.
No doubt I'll be ridiculed for moaning we're only 6 points ahead.
I feared we may take a halfass attitude into this one.
I'm disappointed
Nice move replicating that home stadium feel 😂

Should have had a pen and be playing against 10 if not 9 men. I still wouldn’t swap it for VAR though. Poor subs. We move on

Looking at our Jan fixtures with key players away at Afcon, 3pts here will be huge

Much better atmosphere tonight and I sit in Fam stand so obvs not rocking but felt more ‘normal’ at least. Row in front of me silent all game, should be hoofed out

I’ve been thinking about this a lot & it’s so s**t in the family stand. I think it’s a combination of:-
1. Football fans 20 years ago used to be mostly with your mates. Now it’s kids, wives, granny & grandads
2. Clappers half in / half out. We used to have an albeit good plastic atmosphere with clappers. Now people who have them are annoying & the rest do nothing
3. Youth are not as into it anymore
4. Singing section makes a tiny part decent but is much smaller than away end. Rest of the ground is concentrated of non vocal fans - best to have people spread out
5. I’ll get hounded for this, but the mix of women to men now at football. There’s just a lack of gang / group singing cos people take the ‘Mrs
So anyway I reckon we should create a fam stand singing section. I’m sure loads of kids would love to recreate something like that on a smaller scale.

Leicester City vs Sunderland Pre-Match Preview
Sunderland are one of the more interesting teams to watch in the Championship, and I've had my eye on them all season given they made it to the play-offs last time round, losing to eventual winners Luton. They have a very interesting philosophy at the club, almost using our model but in a Championship version. IE lots of really promising up and comers who they develop and sell on for a lot of money, with an astute and experienced manager in Tony Mowbray. This makes them both exciting and prone to collapse in equal measure, they play good stuff but are really inconsistent.
- They play a mixture of 4141 and 4231, but sometimes even go 442. They even played Jobe Bellingham as a false 9 against Southampton where they won 5-0, which they might well try again.
- They play good stuff, playing out from the back and having a good possession style, they rank 3rd in terms of possession in the division so far.
- They are an interesting case where they have the top scorer in the division in Jack Clarke (left wing), but none of their strikers have scored yet. So a bit like Leicester, they really rely on their wide forwards and midfield players.
-
They typically play two hard-working box-to-box players in Bellingham and Ekwah with Dan Neil (who was suspended against Stoke) as the sitter.
- I'll be interested to see what they do here, a lot of teams try to go man for man on Ricardo and Winks, but I feel like the youthful nature of their team might mean this could backfire, and we play could play around them.
- Jobe Bellingham is pretty good IMO. Obviously hard not to compare him to his brother; he's not as good at the same age but he is good. Will for sure be a Premier League palyer one day. Hard-working, technical, good on the ball and a great engine.
- What they might do, which I have seen them do a few times, is to play 442 and try to kill the opposition on the transition. The biggest warning I would give about this team (and Leeds) is they have players that can exploit a turnover and getting in behind, like on the weekend where Hermansen saved us. Their players are young, full of energy and are fast, and they were ruthless against Southampton at doing this, where they could have won by more.
This is a team that I think could catch us on the break, but equally I think they won't be able to deal with 90 minutes of relentless pressure. With young players, they are more likely to lose concentration at the wrong moment and for it to cost them. So I think this will be another game where we have to work hard but eventually break them down.
I think this will be an enjoyable game and will feel more like a Premier League game rather than a Championship one. They might be a bit more like Brentford in the way they play, in terms of trying to kill us on the transition.
Although we’re better than Southampton, I suspect Sunderland will see us as in a similar system and use a similar tactics as they did Vs Saints. Deffo think this could be our hardest test in the league this season.

If Sunderland don’t go up I hope we’re in for Bellingham. Can really see him suiting our system

As we play Sunderland tomorrow. Something I worked out a while ago.
In 2015-16 season, we officially passed the total final points of second place (Arsenal) by beating Sunderland 2-0 at the Stadium of Light on 10th April. Two Vardy goals if memory serves correctly

Most important player in the team. Quality player.
Please compare with Villa’s reviews of Tielemans tonight 😂 Breath of fresh air

Blackburn have been very impressive so far, don’t understand why they’re so far down the league tbh

In your head, in your Zombie
VARDY, VARDY, VARDY-Y-Y-Y
He's in your head, in your head?
VARDY, VARDY-VARDY-Y-Y-Y
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, eh-eh oh, ya-ya
Reckon do it for Vesty. Vardy has plenty of songs. Probs only do the chorus tho

Hopefully we’ll bring on the first team now. Casedei, Iheanacho, Akgun haven’t covered themselves in glory this half clearly not on form. KDH, Ndidi, Vardy plz.
Very good score line wise tho

The clearest chance was the one for KDH when he basically passed it straight to their keeper.
KDH is a problem at the moment, because try as he might, he ain't cutting it.
We really could have done with another attacking midfielder in the window, one with more composure, and who can play with both feet, but it wasn't to be, so KDH it is for now.
Thought Kel should have scored first half tbh

I’d argue that KDH alone had 3 very clear opportunities. 2 screwed wide when he had all the time and space to hit the target and one scuffed straight to the keeper. Not to mention the Vardy and Casadei misses from very close in and Abdul smashing the post.
Casedei from the start, Ndidi out. Fatawu looks a baller. Think we add those 2 we get the cutting edge. KDH needs to step up more
