Just about to praise Pau Torres for his Leicester defender impression.

Troy Deeney in 2016, turned us down to remain at Watford despite us playing champions league.
Still hurts we never got the Vardy/Deeney all-time shithouse front two.

I think it was this guy:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jani_Šturm
Remember his Slovenian team humiliating FC Copenhagen and then we got linked. The OS even had the deal up on the site, but was withdrawn shortly after and we never heard anything about it again. Looks like we dodged a bullet with that one, if it was him.

Robert Koren?
Not sure. It was early or mid 00s I think. He was a striker.

That slovenian dude, who even made it to the OS. Name escapes me, but he never pulled up any trees anywhere else.

The Substance - 7/10, body horror starring Demi Moore and Margaret Qually, great film with a seriously gross out ending
Just watched The Substance. That was a wild ride; still not sure if it was a good ride, but a ride it was. It will probably stick with me for a while.

So we basiscally yo-yo'ed our way out of this. Madness. Everyone is going to hate us now.
-
Seems a bit harsh as the situation was dumb. It was obviously a throw in to us, but linesman did not help the cause at all waving it to Villa and therefore indicating Vardy got to the ball first and should have gotten a pen. VAR should really tell the ref to alter the throw in, as well as declaring the non pen, to avoid confusion and frustration.
Hopefully we can build some siege mentality on it.

That save in the first half was incredible!
Yeah that one on one with Watkins right at the beginning was sensationel.
Wanted to blame him a little for the their 2nd, but I think we just have to admit, that Duran's movement and header were just superb.

Our whole squad is very average. Why are we xtra harsh on VK? What have JJ shown lately?

Needs to be a squad player. This number 10 experiment has to stop. He makes some decent runs at times, but his tecnique is horrendous and stops too many of our attacks. I also do not think he is very dominant a winning the ball back anymore. When he was at his prime, he was near Kante levels of a midfield destroyer, but he unfortunately does not look like hitting his prime again.
-
Okazaki vibes for sure. Maybe play him in the Ndidi role and get Stephy on the right.
-
He might be a grower. Was hoping for an Ayew moment when he got free for a shot 1st half, but alas straight at Martinez.
-
Duran murdered him for their 2nd goal and he looked iffy at times. But he also were a lot in the right place at the right time. Potential is there, but for the moment I am not super convinced, but none in our defense convince me to be honest, apart from Mads.
-
Skipp took ball and man from behind, when the guy was breaking clear. In modern football that will be a freekick most of the time. Yellow felt harsh though.
The ball hit the ref and redirected into Skipps path for the disallowed goal. Not much to do about that.
Tielemans clearly hit the ball first before clashing with Vardy.
This was a solid ref performance. Reserve your anger till we get proper shafted.

We battled, but were 2nd best. Stephy and Facundo brought some much needed flair.
Defense looks iffy as usual.
At least there is some life in this team.
-
We battled, but were 2nd best. A well drilled Emery machine is a tough match for us right now.
-
I thought he got most things right. Some of the yellows were a bit harsh. It will get so much worse....

No big surprise, we are 2nd best here. A little bite towards the end there.
I want more from Winks and the Ndidi as a 10 experiment needs to stop.
Also a bothered Tielemans looks decent. Still love him for the FA Cup goal, but also still annoyed with him for the lacklustre effort in the relegation season.

Proper legend. We seemed to play our best stuff, when he was in the team.
I will never forget how he and Huth helped transform the team into the great escape.
All the best Kevin.

Such an average team. A well drilled unit would match this sub standard Utd team no problem, but we are not well drilled at all. No hope, just despair. At least Fatawu is taking the piss out of Dalot, who is only not on a yellow because he wears a red shirt at Old Trafford.
Oh well.
