Ward (7) Breath of fresh air, came out to catch corners & crosses, not at fault for their goals. Fofana (5) Started well but got caught out pushing up too far in the 2nd half.. Evans (6) Steady as a rock, calming influence.. Amartay (1) Absolute shocker, cannot defend man on man, start Soyuncu from now on.. Castagne (7) Great game and goal, brilliant on both wings.. Ndidi (3) Very poor by his standards, doesn’t look fit and gave the ball away too easily.. Tielemans (6) Better performance but still not the Youri of old.. KDH (8) Outstanding again, super goal and a future Captain.. Justin (5) Started well but was anonymous 2nd half, should be hugging the touch line but is always in the box leaving a big gap.. Maddison (3) His worst game in a long while, nothin came off for him, hope it’s just a blip.. Vardy (5) Ran himself into the ground, no service at all and was knackered after 65 minutes.. Daka (sub) (3) No service like Vardy, hardly remember him having a touch.. Manager (go) Terrible decision to take KDH off when we had control of the game, (if needed) Praet should have come on instead of Daka, terrible decision not to bring any more Subs on to freshen us up like Franck did, 9 more games like this and our owners will have no option but to replace him..

He was back to his best yesterday I thought, might have turned a few heads in the transfer market or even at our club regarding a better contract offer…

If/when Fofana goes along with Vestergaard we are left with Evans, Soyuncu & Amartey as CBs, Nelson is out on loan, any more defenders in the U/23 or youth teams?

Iverson (25) should be given the number 1 shirt with Stolarczyk (21) given the 2nd keeper slot, it’s pretty clear that Rodgers doesn’t think Ward is capable so we get rid of 2 wages and promote within, can’t see the point of forking out multi millions in transfers & wages, we need players off our books as we are top heavy before we can make any moves in the transfer market…

Watched the last 15 minutes of the Community Shield recording I kept yesterday, Soumare looked bloody great in the time he was on the pitch, I just hope the lad sorts his head out and Rodgers hopefully gives him some game time, having Fofana fit and in the same team should help him as well…

I think Mendy is worth keeping, had a great 2nd half of the season and if it’s a straight choice between him & Choudhury I would go for the one with less hair all day long…

He seems a different player this season, gets stuck in and both of his goals today were excellent finishes, plays well as the 2nd striker but was always played on the right wing, maybe Rodgers will keep him if he still has a year or more on his contract..
