So we took the 45m earlier rather than waiting till June. Perhaps we still have the majority of the 45m sat in the bank? Which would mean we aren't well and truly fcked? Perhaps you're just looking at the worst case scanario, something everybody seems to be doing at the moment. If Top announced he was giving the club £250m as a gift people would be moaning that he's only doing it due the fcuk ups by KP.

Terry & I used to do the Ladbrokes coupon of forecasting results for any number of games. Terry never won as he'd get carried away and forecast results for 11 games. 3rd round FA Cup games and I'd forecast for 5 games, Terry had a quick look '"I see what you've done, you're forecasting results for teams whose fans we will see around town tonight and you can take the piss and say you knew they were going to lose." I'd picked co*, Chelsea, Totteringham and Leeds. Terry added one more. All came up and we got £977 back for a £1 stake.

The wettest I’ve ever been.

That’s Bluey. it was the playoff game. He had a job on in London so he picked me up and we drove down in his car. Parker some way fro the ground as we couldn’t find any closer parking. We’d spotted a pub full of Leicester fans whilst looking for parking so made our way tethered only to find it now empty and short of windows. Landlady was sweeping up, apparently Pompey fans turned up outside and those inside threw everything not nailed down at them. We went to the next nearest pub to find it full of the Pompey fans involved in the fracas as the last pub. One quick pint and we ****ed if sharpish. When we left the game we were spotted and followed by three rather large Pompey lads. ”That’s us ****ed then Bluey, you can fight but you can’t run, I can run but I can’t fight.” We were just walking and waiting for them to pounce when a huge roar went up back down the road (apparently the Baby Squad had left the ground), thankfully the three following us decided that sounded like more fun and charged off down the road. Couple of minutes later my mate Terry who had come down on the minibus from Rugby spotted us and came over for a chat, wearing a Leicester top. He was sharply told to depart. see Neil fairly regularly and the Addison’s sit a few rows behind us. I haven’t seen Mark or Neil in some time. All good lads.

What’s it like for away fans nowadays? I think that recently read on here that it was a great place for away fans nowadays. Used to be one of the worst away days on the calendar, come very close to getting a kicking on two occasions. Any recommendations for pubs? Thanks

Every team we play is awful.

So many post so many times about how 'they' don't care about the fans. If that was the case do you really think they'll be forking out for whatever his salary is just to try and persuade you not to protest. Perhaps some kind of balance could/should be applied and you actually try and give them some credit for what appears to be a good move in bringing this guy onboard. It's the constant neagtivity from so many on here that alienates others. PS Don't take this personally Katy, just chose to reply to your post, could have been sooooo many others.

Do you not think they should be supporting the team? Being the 12th man. ‘Fans’ like you are no help at games. Do what you want on the match but support the team when inside the ground.
