  1. watched four films recently- WATCHMEN - realy enjoyed it as i love my comic book films but i think i need to read the book now to find out more about the story, didnt expect it to be so gory or have proper sex scene 9/10 GRAN TORINO - loved it , apparently this is clints last acting role which is sad but its a great way to go out , one of those films you keep thinking about days after , very sad in places but also uplifting. 9/10 THE YOUNG VICTORIA - my mrs bought it and forced me to watch it as punishment for not taking her to see it when it was at the pictures , but i actualy liked it , as a history lesson it was very entertaining would ive liked to see more of her life though , was a bit mushy in places but ive had to sit through alot worse 7/10 THE WRESTLER - never understood wrestling or liked it in any way but after watching this film i still dont like it and think it should be banned if thats what wrestlers go through in there lifes , as a film it was good just as sad life story of a guy at the lowest of the low , mickey rourke is brilliant and the stripper girl i want to marry she is sexy as. 8/10
  2. finally i saw star trek last night i am a massive sc fi fan/geek , to be honest alot more of a star wars than star trek fan , but i allways liked THE WRATH OF KHAN , THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK , THE VOYAGE HOME , FIRST CONTACT , WATCHED NEXT GENERATION ON AND OFF , LIKED VOYAGER. the new film was good but a bit over hyped for my liking. acting great effects great but maybe a bit too much cgi at times , the plot was clever the way they have reset the whole star trek universe up so they can do whatever they want with it. the bit where kirk was listening to the beastie boys in his car was weird i mean to think the beastie boys will still be listened too by teenage kids in hundreds of years time is mad. anyway i did like the film but just hope for a more fulfilling plot next film , as an origin film great just cant wait for them to start a proper mission

  17. i remember the days of real snow , a great memory is me and my dad waallking in the country and he steps in a hole which is full of snow , and i just see his head left poking out of the snow , but that was the 80's the last great era of snow , when schools motorways and the whole country used to have good reason to shut down , these days a bit of sleet and everyone panics . ok rant over
