One thing that got to me was for the Blackburn tifo we had asked and asked please could the honesty flags be taken out the kop and east stand for that one game. No one wants the image ruined by a League Cup 1997 or Fearless Foxes flag smack in the image. Computer says no blank response. On one of the prep nights we just started moving them into the West and North, took ****ing forever. Eventually they got on the tanoy telling us off for it pretty much. Today I got to my seat and for the life of me couldn't spot an honesty flag anywhere near me. None under seats or anything. So it’s all ok to protect your display but not the fans.

Tifo is itself is fan culture. When it has anything to do in design, financing and making by the football club it is taken from the supporters. It becomes a marketing teams project then.
